Are we talking about peak 1973 George Foreman or ancient relic George Foreman of 1993 or1994, who lost to Tommy Morrison?. Oh, I forgot, Roy Jones Jr could lick anybody in history, including 1988 Mike Tyson. He lost his peak early like Tyson, at age 23? WOW !
The punches Foreman landed on Morrison would seriously hurt Jones Jr. Morrison was 6'2" 235 lbs of steroid aided muscle. Even with that Foreman was able to push him around consistently , had him running .... Imagine what he'd be able to do to 5'11 190 lbs Jones Jr.
Morrison actually sucked at defense and lateral movement. That’s how bad Foreman was. Roy did not suck on these departments.
Jones was 35 had won world titles in 4 weight classes, had over 50 professional bouts, a long amateur career on top of that and been ranked 1-2 p4p for about a decade before he lost his peak. Not remotely like Tyson.
I think prime Roy Jr boxes circles around 70s George Foreman. By which I mean if prime Roy fought Big George after his 70th birthday, Jones would have an easy night.
Morrison was a lot bigger and stronger than Jones with one of the deadliest left hooks in heavyweight history which he landed clean on Foreman multiple times, he barely blinked. I don't believe Jones Jr over a 12 rd fight would be able to avoid Foreman the entirety of it. Plus Foreman's tactics of pushing and pulling opponents would seriously compound his problem. If Foreman lands half the punches on Jones Jr. he landed on Morrison the fight would be over. Jones Jr. wouldn't have that extra bulk to absorb the punishment or from being pushed/pulled out of position. Jones Jr would be smart enough not to even get in a boxing ring with a threat as dangerous as Foreman TBH.
Ppl need to remember even though Morrison wasn't the greatest boxer he hit much much harder than Roy so Foreman couldn't just be super aggressive. With Roy he literally has nothing to worry about whats coming back at him. Foreman via stoppage.
