Quite likely this man is right. Jones would have to basically not get hit at all. That is asking too much of him IMO. He was very good but you can't go out in the rain and not get wet. GGG hitting him hard at some point is practically a certainty.....and that would be the end of that.....
Guess you haven't watched much of Jones in his prime ..The guy was basically un hittable . He was infomous for setting traps ..GGG has never faced anyone with Jones footwork ..
Triple Duck hasn't come close to seeing anyone with Jones' speed, power and athleticism. Golovkin wouldn't last three...
So there were complete scrubs that went the distance with Roy in his Prime but GGG wouldn't go 3 rounds? :huh And who is GGG ducking? You seem to not be able to answer that. Would you like the list of fighters Roy ducked? It is about 10 deep :rofl:rofl
But he fought the man who knocked Nunn out... But I am not sure what that has to do with my point that Toney's power has been proven against better fighters than GGG's has.
Not a Golovtard. Jones had an awful Glass Jaw, no Plan B in a fight and was never in a dog fight. Excuse me if I have doubts Jones would win by KO in 3 rounds :roflatsch
GGG is going to hang around and we will find out. That has been my point. Jones had no sample size at 160 or 168 and we have people on here saying he was 'unbeatable' and the best ever :roflatsch We simply don't know because of Roy's carefully crafted maneuvering and match making.
Jones at his best was the best I've ever seen in terms of hitting (hard) and not being hit. I like GGG, but he is not yet among the best I've seen. Jones by UD.
Roy Jones beat the best middleweight in the world, HOF Hopkins when he was a middleweight. He beat the best Supermiddleweight in the world, HOF Toney when he was a Supermiddleweight He beat the Best LHWT in the world, HOF Virgil Hill, when he was a LHWT. He beat a heavyweight, he's beaten good cruiserweights, and he has beaten one other HOF McCallum (albeit past his prime). He beat an undefeated Pole at 44, he won last week at 45. His record stands for itself. GGG is 32 years old and has yet to beat anyone who is more than decent. Roy's record stands by itself. At this point he has more by 25 than GGG has done in his career.
Sample size? Dominating Hopkins and Toney is not a sample size?:huh A little off topic, but how do you rate Jones' power vs. Golovkin's? Do you consider Prime Roy as savage puncher?
