Hopkins being cocky against a guy like Pavlik is different than cocky towards a fellow legend like Roy Jones. Leonard was cocky with Hearns in 1989 and Hearns did great in that fight. Disrespecting a fellow legend sometimes pumps up the legend and they fight better fights. Leonard should have respected fellow legend Hearns and maybe Tommy would not have been as motivated, but I think he really made Tommy fight his A game. I think Hopkins has pumped up Roy and Roy might be hard to beat if he gets his rhythm.

You don't know ****, if you think Bernard should have got half, when he:
    1. Was a smaller draw.
    2. Already got beat by Jones
    3. Was going to fight RJJ for his titles at a catchweight.

Any one of these factors alone is reason enough for Hopkins not to get half, but when all 3 are present its ****ing retarted to try to argue that Hopkins deserved half. The fact is 60/40 was MORE than fair and Bernard has taken less than 40 % in the past against lesser fighters like ODLH and Tito.

I'm not sure what but hopkins is called executioner yet his knock out record in last many fights doesnt show that at all, not even his staredown with jones here

Hopkins is OLD now but when was in peak form he had a 75% KO to win ratio, he would really break guys down, beat them up and stop them, he doesn't have the work rate anymore, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he loses tomorrow.

Sorry but all this talk about money is bs. A fight coming not off because fighters don´t think they get enough just proves both aren´t really great. Greats don´t fight for money, they fight for legacy and the fans.

Roy looks sallow to me. Im not going to argue about his muscularity, he always is cut, but his skin doesnt look healthy at all, and his muscle have a flat look. He looks very dehydrated and gaunt.

Maybe it will effect his performance tomorrow, maybe not. If he ends up tiring halfway through the fight and weakens, the cutting effected him
