    Benn wins this one.

It was the most amazing victory by a British boxer, despite the tragic consequences. The heart he showed was unbelievable, and he was never the same afterwards.

    Jones via KO

I think Benn even admitted in an interview a few years ago that Roy would have absolutely destroyed him.

Benn was coming to the end of his best years in the G-man fight but you have to give him a punchers chance. People say "punches chance" to frequently when it does not apply but with Benn your talking about devastating one punch KO power and with RJJ shaky but not glass jaw who knows.

My brain tells me a cautious RJJ counters Benn all night and breaks him down in the later rounds.

You guys are going to hate this but the way i see it Benn walks straight through jones's fancy flurrys and catches him with a huge right hook in the 4th.
Jones wakes up only to find out that his clothes have gone out of fashion because he has been out for so long.
Benn never said Jones would beat him but he did say that he had a hell of a lot of respect for him and that it is the sort of fighht that he would relish as Jones puts fear in to him which he neads to get focused.
And besides he made that coment before jones's chin was exposed.
I honestly think Roy has always had a week chin but it was never reslly tested by anyone untill late in his career.
Fighters would stand of him because he is so quick. Benn would walk straight through Roys punches looking for the KO from the start like he always did. Nigel Benn was ****ing mental.
Roy could outbox him all day long but benn could take it and he would catch roy eventualy and even eubank who had a hell of a chin said he had never been hit by anything like Benn could throw.

I would always fancy Benn or Eubank over Jones.

Benn with the power, Eubank stylewise.

Steve Collins did an interview in Boxing Monthly saying he always fancied Jones @ 168 - Steve was a real warrior but not on the same class as Nigel or Chris at their peak.

I never said I favour them strongly!

    Just a hunch.

Benn's peak was about 1994ish, Eubank 1991, not 100% sure about DM, prob 1997ish.
