A prime RJJ wins handily and inside the distance if he really steps on the gas pedal. The most likely outcome would be a UD though.
RJJ would be favourite, but I give Benn a better chance than, say, Eubank or Calzaghe due to Benn being sooooo dangerous when hurt. Which he would be. Jones could play safe and win a lopsided UD if he refrains from going in for the kill.
Jones was a quick starter, and Benn's chin was just a little tougher than glass. I think Jones would blitz him within 3 rounds.
When 'big' benn was 'up' for a fight against a big dangerous american name (de witt,barkley,mclelland,all beat inside.) he showed great fire,heart,punching power and chin. He never lost to a yank didnt our nigel..... Jones is fave,but nigel could easily clean his clock and take his heart. Jones never met a fighter as relentlessly ferocious as a focused nigel....
