I really shouldn’t need to say this to you: That’s not how the sport works. Styles. I’d be quite confident in AJ beating Briedis with ease. AJ fighting Toney, has nothing to do with a Usyk vs Toney fight at CW. Nothing. Do you think Ruiz would have beaten Wlad? Ruiz beat AJ, AJ beat Wlad. Again, that’s not how it works. Stop building Briedis up to be anything special. He’s not. Yet he almost beat Usyk by fighting him on the inside. Again, Toney’s forte. Toney was far more skilled than Breidis. I’m not even saying that Toney would have beaten Briedis and Usyk etc. My only argument is that you have exaggerated, as there is no credible evidence to support an opinion that Toney would have been body bagged. Absolutely none.
Breidis isn’t too big and too strong for Toney. He also has an inferior skill set. Zero evidence of him crushing Toney. Breidis almost beat Usyk at CW. Zero evidence of Usyk crushing Toney at CW. Absolutely none. An old, out of shape Toney didn’t get crushed up at HW by decent fighters. You are talking nonsense.
Except, I’ve never claimed any of that have I? You’re the one making claims that Breidis would have punched a hole through Toney.
The question is trash yet you use a fictional premise (p4p) as your reply LOL .. using Michael Grant and Floyd Mayweather as comparables is trash.. Floyd is 5'7 & weighed 150lbs dripping wet & Grant was a chinny overrated HW lamp post.. in Usyk & Jones we are talking about two legit greats meeting... the size disparity is not comparable to those two you mentioned, Roy is 5'11 with a 74inch reach & managed to win a HW strap..
Nor would Roy had they met at a higher weight class & Toney wasn't having to drop 40lbs to make weight .. starting camp at 207 for a Super Middleweight contest is ridiculous
