RJJ was like Hamed, able to look amazing against average/ good but not worldclass

    But subpar against anyone who is worldclass.Great showman but couldnt/wouldnt be able to mix it up with Barrera/Calzaghe.

    Jones looked pretty comfortable against Toney and Hopkins. Toney was weight drained and Hopkins was probably pre-peak, but they are still very good wins.

    This is a dumb thread. Why are you attacking two of the most entertaining and naturally talented boxers in boxing history? Styles make fights and there were some opponents Hamed and RJJ did not look great against but so what. 9 times out of 10 they gave value for money!

    Pre peak? Dont be a crack head. Phsically BHOP was in his prime and there was not much difference between their previous level of opponents before they fought each other. Was RJJ pre peak? The BHOP pre peak argument when mentioning the RJJ fight does not make sense to me!

    You are confusing prime with peak. It's not uncommon.

    No, Jones wasn't primed either. He was a little tight at the weight. We was in his physical peak though ;)
