Reality check. Both Tito and RJJ are under their own little illusions. If Roy knocked Tito the **** out would he step up to the plate and get beat the **** down once and for all by Joe Calzaghe? He never faced Calzaghe when they were in their primes and now RJJ is trying to make one last run at Calzaghe before his career ends. Tito should do Roy a favor and beat and retire him while hes ahead because Calzaghe will give RJJ brain damage.
if jc hasn't given any of his bogus 99% tin can opponents brain damage, how could he give, past it legend rjj that level of infliction? if calzaghe becomes half of the legend rjj was when he hangs up his gloves, he'd need to work very hard for the next 5 years!!!
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:good:good:good:good:good You dont become a legend beating a bunch of bags in a weak ass division while all the other guys are stepping up weight classes and taking on challenges. Against at least good fighters....If your best win is a ****ing Kessler. You are what you eat. Bull****.
lmao tito is the one who will get owned.... rjj isnt a over rated middle weight like joppy... even tho hes past his prime.... brutal ko for tito under 6.... then hell puss out from boxing an retire again jus like when he got owned by hopkins an wright
He wasn't a prime Roy Jones in his last two outings but he got the job done in two near-shutouts against active young (Hanshaw) and powerful (Ajamu) lightheavyweights. Tito hasn't fought since being hopelessly shutout against Winky (whose career was greatly assisted under promotion of good friend RJJ). Tito is vulnerable to flash knockdowns, and RJJ just put a fighter at 175 pounds in his mid twenties flat on his face. I'll be reminding you of this post after the fight. He's got enough in the tank to add this fight to his highlight reel...he's just too good a finisher and Tito drops way too often.
Tito couldnt KO great fighters at lower weights...yet somehow he is going to take that power to LHW and drop someone that has fought there for a VERY long time? I dont get that rationale.
ooh, awesome! a post that completely invalidates anything you will ever say again on this forum! someone makes a good point, and you respond by not addressing it. kudos!
Tito has been away from the ring since (2005, his last lost to winky weight), in the other hand rjj has been active every year. but who knows, maybe trinidad can pull a george foreman and ko roy, but that's just impossible. :rofl
