You cant count a loss as a win. You do understand that if you punch somebody when they are on their knees they will be disqualified. Therefore Rjj was 34 and 1
Yes I know it was officially a loss. And ffs everybody of course his record was never 50-0. Im saying that barring a DQ in a fight he was going to win, he went more unbeaten fights than Calzaghe, but in a resume comparison Calzaghe gets credit over him every time for going unbeaten, whereas really in actual boxing rather than on paper Roy had the more impressive unbeaten streak despite what happened after.
Lol jones lost his first fight with griffin. Jones never has had a record like joe calzaghes, He will always be a superior fighter to roy.
Roy Jones Jr. had double the quality opponents than Joe Calzaghe and most importantly fought them in their prime/near to prime.
You're a turd. Marciano's record is RETIRING with 49 wins undefeated. Same reason why Valuev wouldn't have broken his record had he gotten to 50 wins, same reason why Chavez and Nielsen and numerous others did not break the record when they got to 50 wins undefeated. DQ or no DQ, Jones' resume is better than Calzaghe's. Personally, I don't count the fights when a guy is completely shot or when he's completely green, unless they do something incredible during that time. Jones' loss to Calzaghe means about as much to me as Hopkins' loss in his pro debut, or Pacquiao's loss to Rustico Torrecampo. The first Tarver loss counts in my book, but the value of his losses after that are significantly debited.
No my friend regardless of what the result might have been he cheated and lost. This is undisputed. Fact Montell Griffin beat Rjj. Meldrick Taylor was beatin Jcc but lost.
Roy never truly lost a professional boxing match until his 51st pro fight. That's a fact. Even with the DQ loss, he still has acheived much more than Joe Calzaghe can ever dream of. Also, Roy is by far, the superior fighter when you talk about a prime for prime match-up.
Where are people saying Calzaghe's resume gets more credit than Roys as it is, nevermind the make believe 50-0. JCC's 87-0 ****'s all over both. Im still not getting your point. And for the record, a lot of fighters have went past 46-0, they just didnt retire, let alone retire while being recognised as one of the best on the planet and the man in their respective division.
