Yup It certainly does. Plus Marquez would finally get his shot at Manny So I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen.

Right now is a very important time for manny pacquiao. If he wins against Cotto he cemments himself as probably a top 15 p4p all time irrigardless of what he does against Mayweather. If he then goes on o beat or even put up a good fight against mayweather you'd hav e to throw him in the top ten. He;d then to retire and run for office, legacy intact. Thats the plan. If he loses his next fight all bets are off. He'd have to think long and hard about whether or not he wants to keep fighting because he's gotten to a wieght class where he is badly undersized and probably doesn't have the ability to knock most of the top fighters out. He'd have to think about whether or not he wants to continue to try to advance his legacy while risking further errosion through more bad prformances. That or he could fight Marquez again, which would be the biggest high risk little reward fight he could take because if marquez won given how close their first two fights were most people would probably consider marquez the btter fighter between the two..something Im sure manny woud loath.

yeah and Roach has gone on record as saying that Margo pretty much told him that Capateo had been loading his wraps. So he knows dam well that in the Margo fight Cotto was fighting a guy with Bricks.

well by on record I mean one of those YouTube Boxing shows....but you know what I mean.

Even a "shot" Castillo is better than the sparring partners that he's using. I've never heard of a fighter at the level of Castillo not being good enough to be a sparring partner. In addition, Castillo is older now but he's not 50. That's strange.

Since you have this much respect for Pac, what if Mayweather beats him and is 41-0 with all that he's accomplished prior to that? I would think he would be top 5 P4P all time on your list or are you like everyone else and have a double standard with Floyd?

Yeah totally...especially considering that Roach himself has pugilistic dementia he should really be showing a whole lot more respect to this guy.

I got a tone of respect for Floyd. I think the guy probably a top 20 fairly easily. As far as the double standard I think thats a whole different kettle of fish.

Cotto has been wobbled over his career, but he's smart once you hurt him he uses questionable but effective tactics, 1. Corley hurt him Cotto hits him with a low blow and a punch after the bell 2. Urklay head butted him Cotto body slammed him 3. Judah hurt him Cotto went low went low went low 4. Shane hurt him he ran away lol 5. Ill talk about margachito in a second 6. Clottey hurt him , Cotto threw him down and hit him low.

Now Cotto has a chin and he's a dirty fighter If Margachito supposedly one of the hardest punchers at 147 couldn't knock cotto out with loaded gloves how da **** does manny put cotto out of there. What im saying is Cotto ain't no ***** hes been in the ring with two of the hardest hitters at 147 shane and Margachito and they couldn't drop him.

Prediction if Cotto gets hurt look for him 2 do something to turn the tide, IMO cotto KO Manny or Manny UD either or but Cotto doesn't get KO'd.

Manny by decision is actually paying out better odds than Pac by KO. Over 3/1 last time i checked.

yes zab is a front runner but, he is as fast as manny or faster and a harder puncher than manny and having said that couldn't knock cotto down or out so roach don't see a ko and Cotto don't come in with his gloves down like Dumb ass Hatton. Cotto took a lot of damaging blows by margarito that possibly used plaster on Cotto and went to the 11th round to finnally gas out. Cotto is tough and hard to knock down when he is hurt, so roach knows what he is talking about.

I think the speed and footwork of Manny will ultimately be the difference. I could see it going the full 12, but a TKO is a good possibility as well.

    Now that's not a HYPE.

Cotto has received punishments fron bigger 147 pounders and he survived, only Margarito was succesful in hurting him so far . . . so I don't really see Cotto being knocked out by Pacquiao.

It's Pac by UD or Cotto by stoppage. Or a stoppage due to cut.

. . . still not decided who to pick.
