    FF: Freddie do you think Juan Manuel Marquez is going to beat Juan Diaz?

    FR: That’s a very tough fight and I can’t wait to see it. I think that Marquez might be too smart for Diaz… but at the same time Diaz’s youth might be too much for Marquez. He’s a strong kid and he keeps coming. It’s going to be a very interesting fight. I’ll pay to see this one!


    FF: Freddie one thing we wanted to ask you - based on a lot of emails and comments we get - is about the likelihood of Manny Pacquiao fighting Marquez a third time. There are still a lot of people who want to see a third fight…

    FR: If Marquez wants to come to 140 and the money is right… we’ll fight him again. Manny has no problem with that. To be honest, at this point with the way Manny is fighting I think we’ll finally get Marquez.
    I’d love to see the fight and Manny has no problem fighting Marquez one more time. I thought we beat Marquez the first two fights. The first fight there was a judging mistake and I thought that should have been our decision… and the second fight was very close and could have went either way. By no means was it a robbery, but it was a close fight. The judges saw it our way, but if they’d seen it the other way I wouldn’t have been crying about it and I would have congratulated them.
    My problem has always been that (Marquez and his team) were such ****ing babies about the decision in the rematch. That was a good fight for boxing. It was very close.

    You people out there who thought Marquez won the rematch… OKAY! I thought Pacquiao won… but it was close.
    At the end of the day, I’d love to see Manny and Juan Manuel fight one more time!

    'There was no robbery'-Freddie Roach......this suggests he knows the fight perhaps should have gone the other way

    Freddi saying "there was no robbery" was just what it sounds like, emphasizing that it was a close fight and "could have gone either way"

    I can't stand Freddie for what he has been saying in the media these last few months. Disrespect in abundance.
