Roach: '[140's] The Best Division In The World & We Want To Conquer [It]'

This is what i have been saying all along, Paulie is a showcase fight which Khan should win with flying colours (If they let him into the U.S) and then he gets the U.S attention where right now no one knows him.

Whats the point him fighting Bradley, Alexander, or Maidana which are tough fights as his debut when no one knows him and for little money.

Roach has also said that they will be willing to fill a date with either Bradley or Alexander as both have HBO dates without an opponent right now, lets hope it happens.

 

Yeah, I think he'll be willing to take on the best purely btw he and Roach have been talking. I actually dont see the rush given his age and really dont think he's ready for the very best. He should be given credit for this.

Im hoping there's more improvements to be seen in his next few fights because I,like many, dont buy into the hype at the moment and ive seen nothing in his game to change my stance. Gym reports aint enough.

I think thats why most fans struggle to raly behind him....we all believe there's a another train wreck coming. So if most think this and then they read about quotes in the boxing press talking about him facing the very elite,you struggle even harder to show support.

If he shows himself to be the real deal then im sure his popularity can rise.

 

Roach must be seeing something in Khan in this camp to suggest that he is ready to face the top 140 pounders, lets see how he does next weekend vs Paulie it should give us a idea on where is Khan at right now.

 

Definitely .... I may be negative when it comes to Khan but I'd actually like him to be good enough to really hang with the best in 140 division.

I dont know about anyone else but im sick and tired of seeing endless quotes from freddie ****ing roach proclaiming kahn this, pacquiao that, all of a sudden he has turned into a gobshite, there are certain people i dont mind taking trash eg. floyd, roger etc because they have always been like it and are generally funny. I respect roach as a great trainer but i just wish he'd stop spouting his mouth off and misrepresenting his fighters

 

That would be funny as hell, but i see it going at least 8, 9 rounds with Khan stopping him.

 

Is that how much he got paid to fight Prescott?
