Does anyone think he needs to change up his training to incorporate more emphasis on D? Khan, JCCjr, Pac--all extreme O and no good D. You can only get away with a power offense and good matchmaking for so long. At some point you will run into an opponent that can trade with you and not be hit as much during exchanges.
Nacho put a Voodoo curse on Roach when he asked for Freddie to autograph stuff before Marquez III. He went all Papa Shango on his azz: This content is protected

He's had a bad year. Has been a good tactician, can't be that they picked bad opposition for all his fighters. Are there problems in training. He will have to make some changes. In addition to those listed above, he has a number of other fighters, many of who have done ok. But does he need to drop some?
He has had the worst year for an elite trainer. But give the guy a break. He lives for boxing, it's a bit of a miracle how he carries out his work with his condition. And also, it does boil down to the fighters at the end. Martinez & Marquez are p4p top 5, Junior had some erratic training behaviour. Khan decided to go macho and go toe to toe.
You could argue he didn't teach Pac and Khan defence or instil a discipline not to get trigger happy and be intelligent figthers and instil a discipline of hard work in JCC.
I cant help but agree. His fighters lost to top opponents. however, i do feel that roach offensive style has been falling apart as of late, none of his fighters realy have good D and they get exposed hard
didn't he also train lateef kayode who got exposed by a part time fighter antonio tarver who did test positive for ped but with or without it kayode would have been exposed anyways.
He didn't develop Khan properly IMO. The rest I don't blame Roach that much. He had the right gameplan against Marquez and Chavez was never better than Martinez anyway.
