And if fighters move up too many weights they risk getting KTFO a risk which Manny is willing to take, 1 or 2 pounds is not that big of a drop for Cotto to take in order to fight the bigger draw and the P4P No.1 frighter in the world, it should have no effect on Cotto.

Moving up and down can always be an issue, but it all depends on how much. Moving down have a very strict limit, so there is only a certain amount that is even possible before becoming zombified. Moving up is more open in limitation, but it doesn't mean it is not a great challenge, just that it is humanly possible.

You are certainly right about the promoter though, those *******s push and shove to whatever fits their agenda.

What's the big deal about 2 pounds? I can lose 2 pounds in 45 minutes playing tennis without feeling any adverse effect. These guys are athletes with nutritionists. I think 2 pounds I think is more of a compromise considering Pac's weight history. I mean, when you're l50 lbs, I think you're not afraid to box w/ a l52 lb. man.

Look, you guys can come to Jersey, I'll get the half can oil drum barbecue grill out and grill chicken, burgers, dogs, beef ribs, goat, salad, seafood salad, potato salad, green beans and garlic and you guys bring your beer. I'll be drinking MGD's and we'll all have a ball. I'm talking about when Pac fights Floyd though lol...

Tennis, you aren't getting hit playing tennis lol. we are not talking about PAc's history of weight. Why should Cotto have to lose 2 lbs? If he agrees to it fine. Why should Pac give any fans an excuse to take away from a win if he wins? Why ask Cotto anything other than lets fight at 147?

Well I agree nutritionists aren't perfect in their predictions, but supposedly coming in healthy should consist of no major physical changes which causes like you said punch resistance, drainage of power and stamina. It mighta been the case for RJJ including his old age and couldn't deal with the constant shifting in weigh. Although in RJJ's case because of his style if he loses any of his great attributes such as speed, reflex, power or stamina, it would be his downfall since he never had any real technical defensive abilities because he never needed it.

Well he is not the Welterweight Champ. He is the WBO titlist, he won the vacant title against WBO's ranked 2nd Michael Jennings. It's not like this is for the undisputed Welterweight Championship of the world .

there no reason to discredit pacmans beatdown of cotto at 145.
he started his career at 106, just shut up and accept it, he is the smaller man that will gain 1 pound after the weigh in, cotto will regain 15 lbs
