Roach Accepts l45 for Cotto

I beat a guy who fought below 160 lol...

 

I heard Roach saying that it should be a 70-30 split in favor of Pac as well.

 

Nobody can use the 'Cotto is shot' excuse if he lost AT ww to Pac. Anything below ww and Pac's critic's will be out in full force should Cotto lose. If Cotto agrees to 145, and the fight is set...fine, but it will be seen by me as a big mistake on Cotto's part, but I won't take away from Pac. Pac is not a little guy anymore. Shane, Cotto nor Floyd are not a lot taller or thicker than Pac because they came from lower weight classes also.

 

70-30 AND a catch weight is about as sick as it gets.

PAC chose to challenge DLH b/c DLH presented many things. Money, Challenge and to ability to raise his stock as a fighter. He was willing to go ABOVE and BEYOND what ANYONE expected in order to make this fight happen and it was a HUGE risk with a HUGE upside. PAC agreed and the rest is history. PAC is now in the same driver seat that DLH once sat but for different reasons. DLH was just a popular guy with a great name, Record and marketability.

PAC earned his spot by winning in the ring. So now everyone is calling PAC out from 115 to 160. PAC didn't weigh in at 147...he just agreed to fight at the WW limit. That doesn't make him a LEGIT WW.

Why wouldn't you consider all these BIG men calling PAC out as looking to "Cheat" or to "Take advantage" of the smaller guy. That's worse than a smaller man asking the bigger man to loose a pound in order to fight. PAC is a JR WW (140) and he has to go up to 145 or at least make the term an agreed weight of 145. Double standards are crazy round here.

 

Cotto and Pac are two guys who are honorable in the boxing world's eyes. I don't care about that. I only want to see the best fight the best...no catch weight. Mano E Mano if that's spelled right lol...

 

yea now this is a good catchweight. Cotto wouldn't have to lose much weight.

That should be a good deal. Everybody know pac is the money here so cotto should take it. Mayweather took a 70-30 deal with his fight with the golden boy. Pac is now the golden boy of boxing. :good

Cotto taking 70-30 against Pac doesn't guarantee him a lot of money. When Floyd-Dlh fought, 70-30 was a guarantee that Floyd would make millions.
