145 weigh-in and we'll still see Cotto at 158 come fight night. IMO, Pac can ask the fight to be at 147 and we'll still get to see the same fight. 2lbs can cause such a ruckus.

Hey, nallege seems to have mellowed! Its a nice change, granted that he's still a bit lukewarm towards Pac. But him coaching his language in a much more temperate manner provokes less *******s towards rabid nuthuggery. If this keeps up, i might start warming to the guy (and Im one of those 'rabid' *******s myself).

Pactnuts like myself might not agree w/ his views, but a semblance of civilization, even in a Board such as ESB, makes for more stimulating convs.

Yeah Cotto is going to be a walking zombie by losing 2 pounds. :patschCotto came into his last fight at 146 and looked strong and not 'weight drained' So he'll have to lose 1 pound.[/quote]

So if a pound or two won't affect Cotto, why are they asking Cotto to lose that ONE pound? Why?

It's because the other *******s think that I'm a diehard Floyd fan when I'm not. I defend Floyd or any fighter against being called a coward, or a man who ducks fighters...and still a couple of *******s rather than talk boxing... spew that cowardly shite, and then I dis Floyd becaue they are mad at being mirrored. Intelligent conversation about these fighters is all I care about.

We don't need Tommy V, Babality, Dangerousity, Dinamita, Bladerunner, Sting and other *******s trying to dis a fighter just because they love Pac so much. If you check this thread out, we had a civil conversation on Pac. Those guys bring up Floyd when confronted with criticism about Pac, and vice versa, but where I love Pac as a fighter, they hate Floyd the fighter, and can't separate Floyd from selling himself as a fighter from Floyd the person lol. In this thread, Pac's fans defended him without bashing Floyd or Cotto when it was all about discussing Cotto and Pac, and kept it civil. I don't mind the back and forth, but guys try to dis me, and while I don't care, it degenerates the thread. Don't ever let any other poster tell you how I feel about Pac because I love the fighter, respect the man, and almost hate his promoter.

I just don't like the idea of Roach saying that the weight doesn't matter, but he is still asking Cotto to come in at 145. If a pound or two doesnt matter, then why not fight at 147? All this Cotto should be weakened a bit since he will dehydrate to 160 talk won't help Cotto in the ring against a fast fighter.

Since you talk about respect, I suggest you do away w/ namecalling altogether.

I guess your not clear on what double talks mean are you...Just a short time ago roach was saying that Cotto would have to come down to 140, and they are saying that they will accept 145, but if he didnt care why not fight at 147. Either you are really stupid or blind...I lean towards the first:good

am i stupid or blind you say, well then **** you you dumb worthless piece of ****..

as i have said as long as the negotiating table is open, roach and company has all the opportunity to demand about the weight, purse split and everything that could benefit his fighter or just simply making the playing field as even as possible, it doesn't take a genius to see that..

if cotto's camp doesn't agree with the demand, they can always counter it or simply walk away, it's that simple..

Pac's team wants it at 143/144lbs, cotto wants 145lbs...And I think they will give in at 145lbs..

Why the **** should Cotto come down to 143 anyway, the last time he was under 146 was about 4 years ago.

145 is OK, I expect Pac will come in under 145 Ibs at the weigh in.
