it's not a million dollar question, it's a simple question that all these dumb haters cannot comprehend or shall we say will not comprehend because their minds are already clouded and automatically narrow everytime they hear the term catchweight..

Why does he keep talking about Cotto being a big man?
That's very simple. Cotto comes in at 160 fight night. Pac comes in at 147/8.

13 pound advantage, I'd say that was a big advantage.

What why should re-hydration be left alone? What are you on about. It's not right that someone fighting at 147 should re-hydrate up 13 pounds.

    It's also not healthy.

hmm says... makes you think... even though the catchweight is 145 lbs... How many of you actually think he'll weigh in at exactly 145 lbs? Coming in exactly at 145 lbs is risky in going over so most likely he'll come in 144 lbs just to be safe.... just a possibility.

So Cotto only has to lose 2 pounds. Pac has to gain 5 from his best weight and it's fair.

    I don't think so.

Now Im sure that your just stupid...THATS MY POINT MORON....How can Roach say I accept 145 when Cotto is a 147 pound fighter, then say He dont care about weight and it not be double talk??? Either he does care about the weight or he dont you cant not care and then make demands at the same time. Not caring would mean fighting Cotto at 147...Why is that so hard for you to understand...Problem with clowns like you is your so quick to defend you hero's that you dont even know when someone isnt insulting them...My only point is Either roach cares about the weight, which is the reason that they want the fight at 145 and they are tring to put a cap on how much Cotto weights fight night, or he dont care if Cotto weight 147 or 147 and comes in at 160 or not. You cant say, I dont care about weight as long as you weigh-in at 145 and dont come in fight night over 155??? Does that make sense to you:huh

I know that I repeated myself several times, but you dont seem to understand, so that is needed:hi:

who's making the recommendation?. - coach (roach)

whether he cares or not about the weight, it's not his decision to make, it's just that he'll recommend all the advantages possible for his fighter to even the playing filed..

who's making the final decision?. - fighter (manny)

if the fighter feels that he can compete in a certain weight then why not, if the other camp agrees to their demands then better?

your skull is as thick as nails dude..

damn your stupid....Im done with this, because you just dont understand what Im saying...ONE LAST TIME....Roach says "I accept 145" But Cotto is a welterweight which is 147...Then Roach Says "I dont care about weight" Yet for whatever reason you cant see that as double talk..Not caring about weight would be saying lets fight I dont care what you weigh. I dont care about who is recommending what, or who has the final decision...What Im saying is that you cant take the road to the right going east and the Road to the left going west, you have to take one or the other..Roach is taking both roads..That is making demands on Cotto to come in lighter then normal and saying that he dont care about weight.

Im done, because your simple :hi:

145-147 is the only acceptable weight range for this fight.

Cotto agreed to 145, catchweight or whatever you call it. It's moot and academic. Stop quarrelling already.
