    very honest and candid comments from roach

    says Crawford reminds him of a young Floyd and that he emulates Floyd very well when he wants to

    is he basically admitting that manny cant beat Floyd? I mean mannys shoulder should be healed by now(even though we know it wasn't hurt in the first place)...to the point he should be ready for Floyd or Floyd style......but roach is balking even though its a real big fight

    hmmmm

    its nice to see some honesty from a trainer for once...instead of pretending hes basically saying he don't want that fight for his prized pupil...I can respect that

    Because Crawford is not Brandon Rios and won't stand there so Manny can hit him. We will see May 2nd,2015 all over again with Pacquiao vs Crawford and that is what Arum wants.

    I hate that....when fighters basically pick the same style of fighter to look good in the ring with....

    its cool...we know pac cant solve the Floyd style....and you are right it would be the same all over again

    like I said...its refreshing to hear roach admit it though

    Crawford's movement and ring IQ would cause Pac fits at this point. I'd rather see Pac go out a winner let him fight Vargas or Broner for his last fight.

    Though Arum is saying its next, I don't really think Arum is serious about it.
    Arum just has a way in which he plays his hand with fighters like Crawford who are on the gate to become stars.

    What Arum will do is undervalue Crawford badly at the negotiating table. Really offer him peanuts to accept a Pacquiao fight.
    Crawford can either take it so Arum gets richer, or not take it, but the offer Arum will put on the table for Crawford is one meant to be rejected.
    Its Arum's way of minimizing the up and coming stars in his stable to a minimum so that he himself reeks the benefits of the money made in fight cards.


    .......and Roach is right, no way he should subject Pacquiao to a young multi-dimensional talent like Crawford.
    Pacquiao has paid his dues and unless he's offered Superfight money to fight Crawford, he should reject that fight outright.

    Roach should shut his pie hole.Coach should never admit fear for their fighter dude sounds like Rocky's Micky before the Clubber Lang match. (1st)

    eh...don't be so hard on roach...I can appreciate the candid honesty....I wish more trainers were like that instead of flexing and posturing when theres a microphone in their face

    roach even basically admitted he and pac were afraid of shane mosley after shane beat the urine out of margarito "yer not Oscar....if you can do 142 we might fight you"....

    its refreshing for trainers to be honest about their fighters limits

    Fair enough. I'm a fan of both fighters and like this fight. Pac hasn't ever turned down a challenge.
