That's not cherry-picking; it's what every boxing trainer in the history of the sport has done. In fact, if you throw a fighter in the ring with someone who is absolutely certain to beat them, that's not just being stupid, it's reckless endangerment, and short-changing the fans.

Personally, while I've got nothing against Manny's career below 140 (which is awesome), I think he's been a little bit 'selective' since, particularly in the last 12 months, but there is nothing, zero, zip, nada, zilch, ****-all about that quote from Roach that is evidence of this in any way.
