    “They could both go to Mayweather but they all knew that’s the second fight, not the first fight,’’ Roach said with a laugh. “The thing is Manny doesn’t really care about fighting Mayweather. After Hatton he wants to fight (welterweight champion Antonio) Margarito.

    “He told Arum that already. He told Arum, ‘I can outbox him all night long.’ Margarito is relentless and he’s got that iron chin but I would never underestimate Manny.’’

    Lets say Margo beats Cotto in the rematch and is officially ring champion.

    What does more for Manny's legacy a win over WW champion Margarito or retired undefeated PBF?

    I don't know what Pac's personal problems are but he needs help... the guy has suicidal tendencies.


    I'd still watch it though... :D

    a win over Margo. With PBF it will be yet another retired fighter, and imho PBF is a true 140 lb fighter anyways. If Pac signed to fight Margo I would have a heart attack from shock, that fight will never happen... if it DOES happen and he WINS it I will officially become a *******.

    If he fights PBF I want to see PBF take a couple warmup fights against solid opposition and see how he performs first. He's not fighting nearly enough to keep his edge and he's also getting up there in age.

    i'm a manny fan, but if he actually has the balls of steel to face margo win or lose i also will become a *******. margo has stated in an interview he knew manny wanted to fight him, but at 143. margo said they knew he couldn't get that low, but i'm sure later down the line both sides might agree in the future on a catch weight as it would be margo's biggest payday if it did happen since oscar is out (hopefully)

    I love PacMan's fighting style and all, but he's getting ridiculous. Him outboxing Margarito is about as likely as Mayweather growing a pair of balls. It will never happen. I would lose respect for Margarito if he were to sign to fight PacMan. There are plenty of potentially great fights out there for Margarito that would be competitive. PacMan isn't one of them.

    Just because Manny puts a whooping to old boy ODLH, he's put on a huge pedestal and he's now the greatest fighter around. Get real, I think I can name 10 fighters within the Jr. & WW division that would of looked great against ODLH.
    Pacman better not overlook Hatton, and better get a brain scan if he thinks he can outfight Margo, because somethings not right up there.
