Like someone said before, Pacquiao and boring dont belong in the same sentence. No matter how defensive Mayweather would be Pacquiao will find a way to make the fight interesting. Everytime Floyd lets his hands go its good stuff as well.

Honestly it wont be that easy, Pacquiao will make Floyd fight if this fight happens that is the only way Floyd will win the fight is if he fights~ you already know Manny is going to come out to get his.

i wouldnt say it will be boring but theres really no chance of a fight of the year type war. floyd just doesnt have it in him to fight those type of fights. i think it would be a smart move by the manny camp to make floyd wait a year or year and a half. floyds biggest advantage is his reflexes and speed, both of which start to diminish in a fighter around his age. the extra time would also give manny time to settle into this heavier weight. floyd looked better years ago than he looks now and manny looks better now than he did years ago. time is mannys best friend right now.

floyd was having trouble the first rounds and even got dropped by a judah right hook coming in. judah has been the only fighter that could match him speedwise, but is known for running out of gas the late rounds, while floyd is known to speed things along. manny's offense is his defense and unless floyd doesn't counter with something to get manny off his rhythm like jmm did, floyd is gonna be in some serious trouble. judah was known to be dangerous the first 4 rounds, manny will be dangerous the whole 12 rounds, he hardly slows down. that manila ice will be floyds biggest nightmare

This fight's getting made, provided Floyd wins in July (which I think he will).

It's the fight the fans want to see. The money will be there. Mayweather says he has nothing to prove, but for a champion like him to be on top of the sport and see the public embrace Pacquiao not only for his accomplishments, but for his crowd-pleasing style, he's gotta be seething inside.

It reminds me of when Floyd wanted the PPV with Gatti for years. It wasn't the fact that Gatti owned the WBC belt at 140 that made Floyd push for the fight even after the legal troubles he was embroiled in at the time, but the fact that in his mind, he could not fathom how the fans failed to appreciate his sublime skills, but pack the house to watch a limited fighter like Gatti (one of my all-time favorites to prove my point).

But the only difference here is that Manny Pacquiao is not Arturo Gatti. I watched Manny since he beat Sasakul at flyweight, and if you told me then that a decade later, he would knock out Oscar De La Hoya, I would've laughed you out of the room. But he just kept moving up in weight and winning. Even early last year, after seeing Manny in a competitive match against Marquez at 130, I thought Hatton would be too big for him, much less DLH at a dozen pounds north of a weight he only fought at ONCE.

But he has improved more over the course of a career than any other fighter I can remember. I'm done doubting. And for someone who fought Barrera twice, Morales thrice, and Marquez twice in a 5 year span, with other former or current world champs sprinkled in between, I doubt he's scared of Floyd. Not to say it won't be a tough fight. If Floyd doesn't show any signs of ring rust against JMM, the Mayweather fight will be the toughest fight of Manny's career.

This fight's going down for sure.

Maybe because it's getting typical to see you negative in almost any Mayweather related thread.

This fight will happen. It would make more money than DLH-Mayweather if mainstream media realized the magnitude of the fight which I think they would.

Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley is where it's at. With all due respect to Cotto - but Shane is the man at welterweight at the moment - even with Cotto's "W" over Sugar.
