Arum is smart here. Floyd has to be disrespected, take 'his' P4P title away, make people talk about how PacMan would whoop his ass, how he's boring, safety first, a cry-baby and most of all... how he's not the biggest star out there. Not because all there are necessary true, but because Floyd can't stand criticism, people saying he's a coward, discussions on how he would lose vs. a given fighter and can't stand being only the 2nd best and 2nd most popular fighter in the US, behind someone from outside of the US. Luckily for the fight chances, all hell will break loose when Juan Manuel Marquez, the career FW he cherry picked to look good against will give him a tough fight, and he will.

PacMan's two victories over De La Hoya and Hatton overshadowed Floyd's SD and late TKO so hard, that he needs a flash-light to make it visible. All Roach, Arum and maybe Pac has to do is to keep on with the negative talk about Floyd and do it regularly, and it's going to happen.

You shouldn't be allowed to speak on the subject considering Pav hasn't fought Abraham yet lol.

Hard to say with the "public". Pipewrenched splurged for some pretty good seats for Pav/Rub. Some of the things he overheard "the public" say would just make you roll your eyes and shake your head. And these were people paying for the good seats. You better believe the suits will be doing market analysis big time for this.

    And the mind game begins....

It's all about business. At the end of the day, it would still be Pac-PBF, if PBF agrees to the terms.

This just shows that team Pacquiao has the leverage in negotiations against Floyd.

Floyd needs Pac more than Floyd and if Floyd remains ignorant then too bad for him.

The public is demanding Cotto-Pac? Give me a ****ing break, there should be a huge outcry against Cotto for even wanting this fight.

The public? Why would I care what the public wants? I don't decide who fights who, I just know what I wanna see personally, and that's the more exciting fight and the fight between the 2 more deserving

If public wanted to see a rematch btwn Hopkins and Tito or Hopkins and Roy, does that mean I wanna see that over a fight btwn Hopkins and Dawson? Nah, it don't,...besides Floyd wants ez fights, he's not even looking towards Pac

Nothing but posturing. Some people here have still yet to figure out the negotiating game of boxing.

I dont deny that at all Hermit...When dealing with people in general, you cant please everybody....You get some good feedback and you get some feedback that just makes you want to slap the **** out of them for saying that crazy stuff.

That brings me back to my point....I'm a sports addict, I love it all: Boxing, basketball, football, mma (yeah I watch it:D). I love to watch ESPN First Take alot before I start my day....Keeps me up to date with all the sports news I need to know...When I say the heard the phrase that Skip said that Floyd doesnt stand a chance against Pacman kinda made me think....if these guys on first take are talking about this match-up (First take rarely talk boxing) if the fight was going to be made it will be the next superfight...I'm not denying that Cotto\Pacman may be more exciting but the causal fan isnt interested in that match up like they are about Floyd\Pacman..Even the guys on around the horn made a statement about the match up. ( I think it was John Wilbon who made the comment)

The point I'm trying to stress is that both are big draws and people want to see this fight because of who they are...You have a **** talking, arrogant guy with boxing skills vs a humble guy with a will to win with speed and power...I mean how can anyone not like it is beyond me man!
