Like I said in another post. This fight is really up to the 'suits'. When everything aligns....... HBO doesn't seem like they want to advertise the fights as much anymore. They wait for a 'natural'. And this is probably it, no doubt.
Stick to the topic...What does Hopkins or anybody else have to do with Floyd\Pacman or Pacman\Cotto? And since you want to go that route with me...What has Cotto done to deserve a shot at the P4P king then??? After he lost to Margorito what else has he done? Beat Micheal Jennings to gain a vaccant title?? (I'm only using your logic since you want to throw the word DESERVE around) The boxing world is bigger than you personal feeling homie...Hate to break it to ya like that but thats the way it is man...Just becuase you want to see Cotto\Pacman doesnt mean everybody has to kiss your ass and follow everything you say because you dont agree with what the hardcore or casual fan want(or atleast do) How do you know that Floyd doesnt want the fight with Pacman?...thats just wishful thinking on your part so your boy Cotto can get the fight next! So for you to sit back here and say this is showing your bias side homie!:good
I'll leave it at that for now, I'm on my mobile and it's hard to type these long repiles, so if u got something else to add u gonna have to wait till tommorow to get another word out of me
I agree with Arum and Roach . . . it's most likely gonna be less action fight than a Cotto/Pac fight . . . but PBF vs Pac is a fight between the current and former #1 rated fighter so it still bigger than Pac vs Cotto. I have really no complain which ever of these projected fights materializes . . . I would love to see both.
Good post :good If this fight is not made... boxing will have just shot one massive hole in its own foot... it will be borderline tragic.
The word boring doesn't belong to the same sentence with the name "Pacquiao". The right word would be "less action filled". PBF vs Pac is less action filled fight compared to Pac vs Cotto. . . . and don't get loss in these press releases . . . putting up Cotto vs Pac in the picture is simply a leverage for Pac vs PBF negotiation.
Quit avoiding claims you've made countless times Psycho! http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139341 :deal
Don't be so sure on that one. Cotto fights a full month before Mayweather. It could be signed before Mayweather fights Marquez. Arum could throw of the time for this fight for a long time.
Boring or not people WANT and DESERVE to know who wins between the two. This is two #1 P4P fighters exchanging blows, people deserve to see this fight regardless of how boring people think it might be. A win over Cotto for Pac isn't as HUGE as a win over Mayweather, not even close. If anything I'm sure Pacquiao will be a heavy favorite going in against Cotto and will eventually knock him out.
