I just know that this fight will happen and won't bother falling for endless rumors about how it's threatened and all that UNLESS either fighter loses. The waiting process should be similar but doubt as bad as Tyson/Lewis, eventually it will be signed if both don't lose any planned future fights.

He's just making people wait and more interested I guess, the hype is already over the hill for this one, hyping it some more before official 24/7s and so on should only boost it higher. Just hope both fighters don't lose any future planned fights before it happens. I'll be expected Pacquiao to take a tune-up before this one.

    Co sign.

JMM is the big spoiler for this fight - But there's no downside to that.

We either get the two best fighters p4p of the past 5 years or two of the best p4p fighters of the last 5 years. Not a bad couple of options.

Yeah even if Mayweather loses a fight with Marquez would still be HUGE, not as big as a fight with Mayweather beating Marquez of course but still a megafight.

Even if Pac loses to Cotto, Mayweather/Cotto would be huge but not as big as with Pacquiao winning over Cotto.

Boxing fans aren't losing no matter what happens, of course I would still feel pissed that Mayweather/Pac didn't happen but if either man loses then it only makes sense to see winners clash.

What a Mayweather Pacquiao fight will boil down to is who can keep their form? Who is it that will stay metnally focused to not make a false move, that has to be Floyd, no matter what you try, no matter what you do in there Floyd will always fight his style of fight.

Manny is not the same, he will take risk even if its not the greatest of ideas, and Floyd will be willing to bore the fans long enough for that to happen.

Pacquiao doesnt want this fight, and wont want this fight unless they see something in the Marquez fight, The know that Floyd has just as quick of hands and is the bigger man who can box and punch if it comes down to it.

I really dont think they want this fight not just for the sake that they may lose the fight itself dealing with Mayweather at the table may leave them taking much less money than they would like to.

Pac vs. Mayweather is boring...compared to Pac vs., Cotto, JMM, Sugar Shane. Is reading comprehension REALLY the low on ESB?

There is nothing about this fight that is boring, you have two of the best P4P fighting each other, one guy is a master boxer the other guy a big puncher both have speed both have skills, whats boring about this fight?

None of those fights will have the glamour of a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. And none of those fights will generate nearly as much revenue.

And if you're thinking Shane would, Shane told Roach he couldnt make 144, ruling himself out of a Pacquiao bout considering Roach and Pac have openly stated they won't fight above 144.

Of course it will be boring to the average fan, these are two counter punches who constantly wait going in against each other. Still it doesn't mean that the fight won't be competitive. I personally love such fights, for those who don't like it then just don't order. I hear Margarito should be fighting yet another can soon in Tijuana, they might want to tune in for that one.

Because they're openly trying to duck what would be the most anticipated fight since Tyson-Lewis or Trinidad-De La Hoya. Basically one of the three biggest fights since Sugar Ray Leonard retired.

Its good for the sport dumb ass.

Oh yeah it just so happens that its between the consensus two best boxers in the world.

    Get a grip dude.
