this is a total rubbish thread. Most of the top guys at the lower weights when Manny started fighting in the US happened to be mostly Mexican. Thats just because most of the top fighters below 135 are Latino, not because Roach is avoiding anyone. thats absurd. I guess Mayweather avoided Filipino fighters too? Total

Learn to ask the right question. Like so:

"Why did pac not have many Slick opponents?" such as whitaker types, toney or n. locche... it's a style credited to black fighters because Apollo Creed showed Rocky Balboa how to fight with rythm.

Well PAC tried getting the shoulder-rolling defensive master but we all know what happened there. And he did fight CLottey who was defensive-minded but not at all slick. Not many marketable slick featherweights out there. He did fight barrera, morales and marquez so there should be nothing to complain about. He has over 50 fights I believe and you should consider that as well. He is not one to avoid a fight.

A better question is ... how many Black opponents were even worth fighting from 106-130 (where he did most of his early work)

You find the answer to that question, and your ignorance on the matter will be cured.

No....he fought the guy who beat Shane in Miguel. "DUCK" is what Floyd did in avoiding PAC.

I think this is a bad question, because I don't think Manny avoided black fighters, but I think he sould have fought Zahir Raheem after he beat Morales

are you the same ****** who said pacquiao couldn't beat a black boxer coz of their fighting style?

if you really know what you're talking about, can you name a black fighter whom pacquiao ducked?
