At times he did, however, that doesn't change the impressive way in which he attacked the body....you move up in weight sometimes you need to adjust your game...its only natural.

Sure he's pretty stubborn, what fighter isn't? I actually truly enjoyed the Floyd fight both guys showed A level skill few folks on here appreciated that fight.

Like many others I had it 8-4 Canelo but think the official scorecards were a disgrace.

Re. El Bermejo's scorecards what does it take for an opponent to be scored a round over him?

As evidenced here, the Khan fight and numerous others he seems to get given points for rounds he's clearly lost. Is this due to his 'star power' in which the judges are somewhat unwittingly influenced by his success and celebrity or is something more sinister afoot?

Maybe I need to rewatch the fight but I didn't see how so many people had it a draw or cotto winning.

One of my good friends who canelo is his favorite fighter had cotto winning. Juan Manuel Marquez had it a draw or something. Some fans on here say Cotto won.

Ill rewatch it but I had Canelo winning a good close fight.

This is one of those fights that proves there will always be extremely biased fans who are simply unable to watch a fight with any objectivity.

THe rematch would be pointless, it's simply a money-grabbing attempt by Cotto and his team.

Why not state the truth?? Pollo Canelo, Pretty in Pink Cotto, & all the rest supposed 160 hiarachy are scared constipated of Gennady Golovkin. Thank the Good Lord Danny Jacobs seems blessed with the cojones those divas lack.
Tell the damned truth they'll fight anyone not named Gennady Golovkin.
Tell me honestly how that loud mouthed COWARD Pollo Canelo is the cash cow?? Oh but there again the last cash cow was a cowardly cheat wasn't he ??

I thought Cotto did well, close fight. Canelo probably deserved the nod and would win a rematch.

Sometimes you really have to watch a fight more than once.

Its getting old dude. Just make ONE thread about how great GGG is and how terrible everyone else is, and vent all you want there. You don't have to go into every thread and repeat the same ridiculous immature nonsense. You're a grown man, act like one.

Cotto acquitted himself well, however his punches didn't have enough steam to hurt canelo, if you count the number of punches landed only without considering the effect, I guess you can have a closer score card. Still it was a clear win for canelo.
Roach is just being Roach. He does a better promoting than roc nation.

Why don't you just admit what all the 160 hiarachy obviously admit ?? They do not believe any of them can actually beat Golovkin. If they believe they can all they have to do is OFFICIALLY challenge him. NO one, but Danny Jacobs has the confidence obviously . If Danny beats him legitimately I'll be the first to congratulate him & call him CHAMP!!! Will you be prepared to do the same>???
C'mon act like a grown man
Oh & you mention immature nonsense?? Who has acted more childish than Canelo with his Macho BS calling out GGG then later meekly handing over a title he was afraid to defend when he was called on it??

Not one of those guys made a LEGITIMATE OFFICIAL challenge till Danny Jacobs
Trash talking on twitter isn't a legitimate challenge Punkin LOL
The very fact you claim Canelo legitimately challenged him proves you have zero credibility in my book LMAO Give it up you cannot win
