So who at welterweight is a more credible challenge than Berto???

 

A Bradley acclimated to 147 would beat Berto no doubt, hes the better boxer and even he would hurt Berto. Berto is one of these guys that you wonder why he hasnt been KOed yet. And the best explanation for that is because he has absolutely faced no one above a B minus level fighter.

You put this guy against Cotto or Clottey he would sleep guaranteed.

 

Floyd and as a matter of fact Mosley would be a better challenge as much as I dont want to see the fight.

Actually Mosley would beat Berto at 147 even now.

Is Berto flawed? yes he is... Ask me if Bradley is flawed and I"ll sadly tell you the same thing..

Both guys are good for the sport, but at this stage i think Pac just outworks and maneuvers these guys..

The power is secondary because at this weight Pacs recovery and chin is second to none....

i'd love to see Mosley Pac strictly based on styles... mosley could cause problems..

 

Don't know what you haters want. When Team Pac was angling for a Mosley fight, y'all start crying wanting him to take on a young champion like Berto instead. Now Berto is in the equation, Roach's comments were probably to help build the fight should it happen, and it's still not good enough. If you think Berto is no challenge, why do you want Pac to fight him? Is it just so you can see a slick black fighter get paid?

 

this is someone who was holding all night to Urango who is as slow as lava and getting smacked around like tina turner by Collazo.......matter of fact i would love to see Pac beat Berto up and take his belt prefer this beatdown than ending Mosleys career

 

Bertos not slick. Pac just needs to be in big fights man. He may have two fights left in his career and I sure dont want to waste one of that for Berto. Floyd and JMM Id be happy. Martinez too win or lose.

 

Thats another thing that I cant stand about Berto, the holding. You know what? Yeah let him get beat up. He probably thinks hes as fast as PAc.

JMM will take this fight w/ Pac @ a catch weight and Pac's title on the line in a heartbeat. He's that desperate when it comes to the Pacman. Pac will beat him comfortably.

 

JMM disrespecting Pac is just usual trash talk. He'll go through any length just to get Pac to fight him again.

 

Those are the fights I want to see, but they might never happen. Mayweather fight happening depends on Floyd, his situation and his demands. JMM will be difficult to make, as Pac and Arum have said GBP must offer a gauranteed purse and shell out for the entire promotion. And don't think Team Pac wants anything to do with Martinez.

So you're left with Mosley, Berto, Bradley/Alexander. Either way Pac fights an old shot legend, a top but inexperienced/unproven welter, or a top 140 lber fighting at welter. He won't get credit for any of them, so he should just go for Mosley.
