well, seeing as Hattons, lateral footwork, defense and ring intelligence are average at best, this seems like a good plan, especially when you factor in Pac's speed and the fact that he's a southpaw.........honestly, he has all the tools to destroy Hatton, anyone giving Ricky more then a punchers chance is in denial

if a fights a toss up, it's a toss up, but i just don't see this being close...Ricky really has a mountain climb here, and not just a normal mountain, i'm talkin Mount Fuji or whatever the biggest mountain in the world is.....

Mayweather has alot of work to do just to make this competitive

truth hatton has never faced this type of speed, and volume of punching. i give respect to hatton if he wins. but every time i picture the fight i see pac being too good. im telling you pac prefers these type of fighters. pac has trouble against counterpunchers that use his aggression against him. pac will hit and move and dissorientate hatton. i think pac will dominate this fight.

Good Plan.....Hatton is a bully in the ring and it works very well! IF his opponent lets Hatton force the pace and action to the ropes usually Hatton is able to wear down his foe and beat him in to submission.

PAC's best bet is to use the jab and lead left, circle and use combinations to keep Hatton off set and unable to mount any real offense. The dynamics of PAC should allow him to do this...the speed, offesnive arsenal and skills are all in favor of PAC.

I think hatton has his hands full in this one.....I do see PAC getting a little too BRAVE and deciding to fight inside with Hatton as some stage...probably the begining half of the fight where Hatton will get in his best work....But I feel that PAC will begin to pull away by 5 or round 6 not to mention he'll do his own damage in the initial 4-6 rounds himself. I see it ending early with PAC being the winner.

Agreed but those guys are MORE of inside fighters! PAC CAN fight on the inside but that's really not what his style is. And For the MOST PART when Hatton got his oppoents to the ropes he was able to tee off to the body and create opening to the head. Floyd, Callazo and Magee are crafty guys who like close qtr fighting. PAC does too but he likes enough space to take a half step back and circle round to rally off combos and create openings. He won't be able to do that agaisnt the ropes.

Neither did Hussein when he knocked him down with a jab and neither did JMM.

Id say keeping him in the center of the ring definately favors Manny..he also has to nullify Rickys hit and grab style by tying him up 1st when Ricky scomes in when he is unable to maneuver out of the way

I just can't wait to see how Pac stands up to the first hook to the body. Nobody knows whats gonna happen.Hatton is 100% gonna be his strongest opponent so far.

 Indeed he is, but since we're on the subject of the things Mighty Mouse is known for; he's not exactly a Top Gun pilot when those MIGs start shooting back, if you follow me. I've seen Pacquiao damn near jump into press row when the other guy barrels forward. :rofl

These guys are gonna be going around the ring like two alley cats.
