Cotto has trouble at 140 making that weight has effected him in fights, Mosley has trouble getting down to 147 taking off an extra 4 will kill him.
Look this isnt discrediting Manny Pacquiao but seriously these two fighters if they fought Manny at this weight, I couldnt respect any Manny win cus its just not a fair win, may as well say Cotto Mosley we will fight you as long as your hands are tied behind your back.

I don't think you can say Mosley has trouble making 147. There's nothing to suggest that.

Roach was on the radio the day after Pac knocked out Hatton and he said so himself, he stated, he wants these bigger guys but they have to come down he said, Mosley is very strong at 147 but I also know he has trouble making that weight, so if he wants to fight my guy he is going to have to give up something he already has the size advantage.......

This is from roach himself and you know what, yes I think Mosley does have a hard time making that weight.

That Oscar made his compromise already, Pac was moving up 2 divisions and Oscar was moving down 1. On top of that, the reward in terms of money and exposure was too big to refuse. Fighting Cotto/Mosley at 147 when Pac clearly isnt a WW is a risk for no reason, one he doesnt have to take, not for legacy or money...theres Floyd who is closer in size.

cause when Mosley fought Mayorga at 154, he was outweighed by 10lbs on fightnight.

But you also have to remember that Mayorga had just fought Vargas prior to that at a catch weight of 166 so Mayorga out weighing Mosley isnt and wasnt a surprise.

    That's right . . . that's only logical.

No need for Pac to punish himself and take the un necessary risks at this point. He is the numero UNO . . . if the welters wants him . . . then go down to meet him.

Anybody who talks about ducking . . . is simply dumb or stupid.

The guy has already climb 6 weight divisions . . . and I say he has reach his limit.

It's called negotiation. Roach is starting the weight out low, and they'll meet somewhere in the middle.

Cotto and Mosley are the ones who are challenging pacquiao. Pacquiao and Roach have said that 140 is Pac's most comfortable weight and where he is more powerful. Then why don't these two fight him at 140? or at a catch weight? Pac is the one calling the shots right now as he is the man to beat. They should budge in on Pac's terms. Otherwise, don't call out Pac and fight legit welterweights or move up to 154, simple as that.

I personally think it's fair. Pac has been moving up weights a lot. Which we all know takes a big toll on a fighter's body. Maybe they could negotiate a few pounds

I'm not sure but maybe because Floyd fights at 147lbs like those guys while Pac is fighting at a lower weight division than those guys. If Floyd is really small for a welter, he can always go down to 135lbs or 140lbs and campaign there. Then he has all the reason not to fight any welters.

I dont really think its fair, But I also dont think its un fair neither, if they come down at that weight then the purse split for either guy should be 60/40 split in favor of Manny.

if they dog them in terms of the purse split and the weight then yes its un fair. Honestly there really is only one fight that makes sense for Manny Pacquiao and that is Floyd Mayweather Jr, Neither Cotto or Mosley will be able to help Manny reach the ATG status he will reach if he fights and beats a FMJ

You make some points but if he can fight Delahoya at that weight he should fight them also at that weight and not make them kill themselves to get down to that weight... He gonna make more money fighting any of them 3 then he would fighting anybody at 140.. There isn't anymore challenges or big money fights at 140.. True he started out at a lower weight but everybody is making a big deal about his win over Delahoya at 147 why not challenge the legit 147 pounders who don't have to kill themselve to make that weight instead of puttin them at a disadvantage..

Mosley is directly calling out Pac. He went as far as showing up at the Wildcard to speak with Roach. Yes Arum may very well be manipulating ppv numbers and twisting stories about who wants to fight who, but the bottom line is Mosley has publically called out Pac on multiple occasions. It's obvious that he wants this fight much more than Pac does and so he must willing to concede certain demands if he truly wants to fight the most desired opponent in boxing at the moment.
