don't be stupid...Pacman is not going to make any more money than he got for hatton at 140...he already beat hatton...who else is going to bring him the money he wants...who braniac? The fact is Cotto Mosley and PBF are going to make money at 147...there's alot of money to make there, with many entriguing fights yet to be made...140 is tapped out. Pac-man as much as i like him will be forced to come up...regardless of what Roach thinks. Once again...Pac-man can continue fighting at 140...be there's no one left there that can make him the money Hatton brought..point blank. So shut the **** up and thank you very much.

Many of these guys seem to be missing one point...Any combination of the three would get those three fighters just as much money. I think that the whole P4P thing is also pushing them to want the fight, and the fact that Arum keeps calling Cotto and Shanes names then putting what WE all know is unreal demands on them in terms of weight, and unreal demands on floyd in terms of the purse split. so what they are really doing is making sure or making harder to make the fight so in the end they can claim that none would fight Pac so he can go fight chavez jr who is fighting at even a higher weight. You watch and see:good

    Makes perfect since.
I dont think Mosely can make the wait but I think Cotto could. If he wanted to. Same with Mayweather.

    Pac can sit at 140.
Have a fight with a belt holder then fight Marquez in the rubber match. No matter the outcome of the Mayweather/Marquez fight.

Also Roach and Pac dont seem the types to
sit there and say people are ducking them.

Asking Cotto to go down to 140 is just plain unrealistic...he'll look like a movie extra for Schindler's list. How competitive would that fight be, really? Pac-man doesn't seem like the guy who would want to fight a walking corpse. He's more competitive than that and I think he really want to face fighters at their best to prove to himself he's P4P #1

If JMM performs well in a loss to Mayweather or if he wins, Pac / JMM at 140.
Mayweather if he wins at 140.

No, Tim Bradley and others at junior welter won't make the mega money that a Mosley fight at 147 would or a Cotto fight, but those guys are too big for Pacquiao. DLH was a one off against a vulnerable guy that Roach knew Pac would beat half to death after he saw Mayweather vs DLH from DLH's corner and training him.

I think Pac could make great money fighting guys at 140 on regular HBO, with other big fights at 140 on the under cards lining them up for Pacquiao.

Pac just now has hit a new level of mainstream after the Hatton fight. Every Pac fight will be huge now. What if he knocks out Bradley and some others at 140? I think its the way to go.

Asking Pacquiao to go up to 147 is also unrealistic.

    Solution: Cotto go fight welters
    Pac go fight junior welters

In which case Pac should take fights that can add to his legacy.....unify at 140 or PBF at 143 (I'm sure the money will be an issue there)

He deserves an easier fight next, I'm thinking Valero or Campbell at 140

I agree, but arum sure the **** is.

I dont see any thing wrong with Pac fighting at 140, the only problem I have is they keep talking about bigger fighters and saying they need to come down and fight Pac. I dont see how people dont have a problem with that. Who wants to see zombies fights??? There is a reason that Cotto left 140, he couldnt make the weight.

Maybe we should send Arum a memo to stop putting that **** out there, then making unreal demands when fighters respond.

If Floyd can make catchweight for Marquez he can do it for Pac.

I think Bradley would give Pac a competitive fight, Cotto and Mosley at a CW would do nothing to enhance his legacy....Cotto for one is known for struggling below 147.

Floyd can make 140. But that isnt the roadblock for that fight, its the money...Floyd isnt going to fight for 35% end of story.

Valero and Campbell are NOT easy fights. Either of those guys have the potential of wacking out Pacquaio if he doesn't bring his A game.
