Many had Cotto winning 4-5 rounds. Heck, some even had the fight a draw. The most one-sided rounds in fight were Cotto rounds.

I would lol @ the idea of Mayweather knocking cotto to out at 160, but of course you don't even believe this **** mvc.

"Manny had Cotto winning 4-5 rounds" :patsch

He won 3, two of the judges had him winning 3, 1 even had him winning 2. :smoke

Most of the media had Floyd winning 9 rounds. Deal with it. :hi:

I could see Floyd knocking him out. He had Cotto out on his feet in r12. I see Floyd tuning his ass up the next time around.

Cotto is just flattering Roach, nothing wrong with that, he's made Cotto a big name again and he sees that as way of giving Roach the biggest thanks he can get. But this notion that Floyd could've done better had he used his legs I don't agree with. Floyd fought a great gameplan in knowing that Cotto knows how to box, he knew he would land, and if Cotto had landed the same with Floyd "running" more he may have given up a couple more rounds to Cotto.

Floyd running with Cotto landing the same would mean Floyd is not landing as hard as he is not setting his feet as well, that combined with moving backward so much and you get a recipe that does not look good to the judges. Cotto is a extremely good at controlled aggression, Floyd would've only made himself look bad to use feet. Cotto knows boxing, knows what looks good to judging and what does not, Floyd knew it too, he bit the bullet by design, to say anything else is actually not giving Floyd the props he deserves.

the most dangerous fighter is a fighter who believes in himself, and apparently roach has cottos head filled with delusions of grandeur. cotto beat a human skeleton(rodriguez) and a pegleg derrick rose(sergio martinez) he aint fooling me with this garbage, i remember him not too long ago leave the ring crying after his losses to mayweather and trout. at this point in his career miguel cotto is being used by the powers that be to set up a big money fight, they set him up to look marketable to sell a big fight. they are doin a damn good job too, they have a big percentage of boxing fans buying it hook, line and sinker, they even got cotto believing it.

How ironic, a guy who calls himself puncherschance not giving someone a puncher's chance.

Sergio was ready for the taking man. Any B level fighter would of been crowned middleweight champ that night. Quillin, Sturm, Soliman, Geale, even Barker would of won that night, but Cotto still fought pretty well. Gotta give credit to Roach for these perfectly timed matchups did the same with Pacquiao vs Oscar and almost pulled it off again with matching Pacquiao with a 38yr old Marquez, but that one backfired bigtime.

    I say no deferents

According to Roches own admission Martinez was 75% athletically inclined and 25% skill and he was coming off a year lay off at 39.
Not to take anything away from Cotto, but those number would not exists against Floyd.
Cotto last trainer Pedro Diaz is no slouch as a trainer.

Also Roach is a SMUG SOB! For a trainer who has yet to start a good fighter from scratch he sure like to talk like he is the Sh!t

Void will never fight Cotto in a rematch, he has become afraid. The fight everyone wants to see is Pac Vs. Void, but Void's fear will not allow him to take that fight...................

I doubt if Void will take that fight for any amount of money....................nor will he fight Pac. Void will fight the easiest fight he can find, perhaps the woman he beat up?

To the OP: Cotto was 161 fight night against Martinez (who was 166). Pacquiao was 142 (not 148) fight night (after weighing in at 138) against Hatton. We have no official records of Mayweather's recent fight night weights.
