    He wouldn't since he lacks intelligence to beat Mayweather. Even if Roach makes a solid gameplan, it may posses problems to Floyd for about 3 rounds, then Floyd slowly adapts and schools him.
    Eventhough he looked pretty good in Martinez bout - his defense was pretty good, he was evading whole combinations not only single punches. Floyd is simply few levels above the competition at 147/154 and in my oppinion only someone alot bigger than him can might stand chance.
    In last couple years he's lost a bit of speed but made it up with higher and higher ring IQ.

    They got a Martinez who has really been ready for the taking the last few years. They beat a Rodriguez who isn't good point blank period. Put Cotto in with Canelo, Williams, Clottey, Mayweather, Thurman, etc., and he gets raped. Go ahead and drink that Freddy Roach Koolaid if you want. He gets praise when his guy wins, but the many times his guy loses, it is ignored. Seemingly how he keeps getting trainer of the year awards, even when his guys all get spanked
