My point is this. Saying a fighter like Cotto quit when he clearly had enough is not quitting. You can die in the ring. Cotto is lucky to keep on going in his career. Same with Pac. When a fighter quits, it means he's had enough whether it happens in 2 and a half rounds or the 11th round!...

Bull****. I just rewatched both the end of 8th round and the end of the 9th. There is no hesitation on Cotto's part at anytime. The doctor comes to ask him if he can still continue and he says that there is no problem. Either the thread starter is making up quotes or Roach has truly lost it.

 

Have you read cotto's recent interviews where he gives his reaction to roach comments and that he wasn't being affected? he also gave his piece of mind regarding el gato's controversy.

 

I would say Roach has lost it, He just said Pacquiao in the 1st roundatsch
