It will be the biggest selling fight ever, no doubt. Both guys have tough fights to win though. If they do it makes the fight even bigger and yes, there needs to be continual focus on putting better fights on under-cards. The under-cards for their next fights sound potentially very good, so I hope those fights work out. Pac/Floyd would sell so much, the promoters could really afford to put some excellent fighters on the under-card. We're talking about the two biggest promoters in boxing so no reason they cannot do so.

    For himself, Not me.
(His decline has begun, Walking K.O.)

    First his desire went...
    Then his punchoutput...
    Layoff/retirement...
    Now he's fighting for pay...

Sounds like a fighter setting himself up for a K.O.

don't forget that Pac has never weighed-in above 142 in hs entire career. Even against Cotto he will be well below 147. Noone wants to see PBF vs a bloated Pacquiao or with a 4-5lb difference at the weigh-in

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Let's let the record show that you are of the opinion that Floyd is a shot fighter.

Mayweather rarely weigh in above 150 on fight night he was 149 vs judah. Mayweather could definately still make 140 without breaking a sweat.

Anywhere between 144 and 147 will be just fine for a potential Pac/Floyd fight. Squabbling over 3 or 4 pounds is getting ridiculous. When you're an elite fighter, it should not matter.

I was saying theres more money to be made if PBF plays the bad guy, and Pac the good guy. These fighters already have their moulds. So from experience i can gauge that at the end of the day the fight will be promoted that way and the fans will buy in to it.

Roach demanding a catchweight won't affect that.

You saying Floyd is shot takes away from Pacquiao if he wins. Maybe you should wait till after Mayweather/Marquez to determine that!

If Mayweather were fragile he'd be draining his opponents like Fanny Pac:deal

Let's see lil Fanny give up 15 or 20lbs to an opponent.

    He'd fold like a beach towel.

I think for JMM, Floyd is a bit more subdued now, but if he fights Pac I am certain he will embrace the role of the villain all-out. He knows it will obviously help sell.

I don't know about that. What if Cotto looks drained against Pac? That would be two drained fighters that he took advantage of. The boxing public might not look too kindly on that. Roach would be sticking his foot in his mouth by initially saying Floyd is too small for Pac and then trying to claim that Floyd is too big by asking for a catchweight. From my own point of view, if Floyd looks good against JMM then Pac asking for a catchweight of 143 or 144 would be pointless. They would need to ask for a catchweight of 141 or even ask Floyd to come down to 140 if they want to gain an advantage. Otherwise, they would be putting themselves in line for criticism without gaining any sort of advantage.
