That punch was landing with or without a foot clash

Pac clearly lost balance before the punch - i.e. his foot got caught before punch landed. He was already moving forward but he had no balance under him. If he had legs he could have possibly taken the punch better. That's no guarantee obviously, but your crazy if you think this didn't increase the effect of the punch.

He was caught in the perfect time by a hurt yet very dangerous Marquez who was also desperate for a clean solid shot. Just watch that moment again, it was super fast paced for Marquez to plan any "foot stepping" methods, Pacquiao comes in wide open and gets caught, simple. Only idiots or newbies would blame foot stepping since it's very common when a southpaw meets an orthodox fighter.

It was more Pacquiao's fault than Marquez, that's just how boxing is. He came in wide open looking to make a statement before the end of the round and got caught cold.

Pretty much. It was Pacquiao who charged in recklessly wide open for a clean counter.

    So Manny knocked himself out?
He tripped & accidentally got hit by a punch he didn't see.

Maybe next time Juan should announce his next shot so Manny can be ready for it.
Also make sure that he don't use his superior ring knowledge because that is cheating.

    No fair Juan, No fair...

A superior fighter wouldn't have four life and death experiences with the same opponent. Even in the fourth fight, where he won, he was getting battered and suffered a concussion. This thread explains to the clueless how and why the knockout happened. It has nothing to do with who's "superior".

I'm not saying it was marquez fault , that's not the point. Foot stomping happens all the time in boxing. The point is Pac tripped and fell on top of the punch. That isnt to say JMM had nothing to do wit the KO - he set it up and timed it perfectly. Pacquiao walked into it. But there's other factors there. If your denying that your just denying reality.

Jesus. You could argue the semantics of any knockout punch.

"Well, if he'd have moved this way and not that way.." blah blah.

    KTFO6 - end of story.

Tasco if there was any contribution, it was minimal. His front foot touching down wasn't going to steady him significantly when he was already in forward motion. Your incessant need to highlight the fact that he tripped just betrays your bias.

Pacquiao goes in, he always gets crossed up and off balance.Roach theory is right.

But that's Pacquiao's style. He got himself in that position not just once but many times.

His Foot is not to blame there. It's Manny's tendency to lunge in hard and with out a jab.

It's a common mistake Mammy P makes. He has no jab to set up his left.
