Roach: Floyd is not a legend

Since when is slagging off the other guys trainer hypeing the fight. There is no 'evil one' between Manny and Pac, it'll be a war that's all Roach has to say to hype it. Not attack Floyd SR.

 

Last I looked, Floyd Sr. attacked Roach first. Where's the outcry about that?

 

Well no, cheap shot I admit. Roach talks a lot but he doesn't really get on my
nerves. I find it understandable he talks more than Pac because Pac doesn't
do any talking because he's barely able to talk in english. And from what i've
read and seen, Roach doesnt talk nearly as much trash as some of the other
trainers. If there is one trainer that thinks he's a legend, I'd say it's
Mayweather Sr.

 

I think Roach has a problem with Golden Boy Promotions, so he will do anything to discredit GBP, and whoever works for them.

 

Sr, is just as bad.

Both trainers want their time in the spotlight and i personally don't think it does either fighter any good. There doesnt always have to be bad blood between boxers on the build up so im not sure what the trainers are playing at. They should be in the gym not on camera.

He just had Manny Pacquiao beat the **** outta Oscar De La Hoya...a FORMER FLYWEIGHT beat the **** outta a superstar fighter.

Everyone is on his nuts right now because of the fact that he simply called the fight down to a tee...Is it his fault that they think he's some sort of expert? :think :nono

Roach and Manny are both respectable people and humble at what they do. He is simply saying that Mayweather needs to check himself. He's nothing special. It's the fighter he trains that makes his advice and plans look good.

There are plenty of great trainers that have shitty success because their fighters never listen. Manny Stewart. Buddy McGirt. Ronnie Shields. All those guys get the **** end of the stick because their fighter at some point ends up sucking the big one. Each one at some point though has their fighter listen and perform exactly what is needed to do. Stewart has his special fighter in Wladimir. Roach has his in Pacman. Nazim has Bernard. So on and so forth...

 

Yeah, only trained 20 some fighters to world titles....:roll:

i think the hotest coach in boxing rt now is Naazim Richardson but i agree with roach the boxer should get the credit because without heart and the drive to win the best boxer would be nothing you could have all the knowledge in the world but if u cant take a punch you cant win
