Roach "Floyd's legs are gone. That's why he changed his style in the Mosley fight."

Roach is a really strong trainer and you can't dispute his understanding of all things boxing, to include promotion, the man is smart enough to know this is obviously not true, but he's also smart enough to know saying things like this just add a few more dollars to the pot. I don't blame him for saying it, but I would blame him if he actually believed it.

Sure, Floyds wheels might have slowed a little... he's almost in his "mid-thirties"... he's 10-15lbs heavier ...

But, personally I thought Mayweather chose to fight the way he did because of what was in front of him... not because "his legs are gone" ... come on Freddy. lol

We now know why Floyd Senior calls him Freddie the Joke Coach Roach. If he really thinks PBF's legs are gone then Pacman will get ****ed up worse than imagined.

I doubt his legs are gone. He's not that old. He probably can't use constant movement like he did back in his match with Corrales, but I'm sure he can circle and box a lot if he wants to.

I have to admit, I WAS very surprised that Floyd was actually coming forward and boxing. Even more surprisingly, it worked like a charm, except for one round. If he boxed like that against a big guy like Shane, I'm starting to think he'd do the same, with a high guard, against Pac. Could be interesting.

I think this is a bad idea for Roach to say something like this. If ever Floyd loses, there is already the excuse that Floyd is already shot and Roach knew it.

Just like in the case of DLH, after the fight, everyone is suddenly agreeing with him when he said that DLH doesn't have it anymore. But before the fight, he was regarded as ******ed and greedy for agreeing to the fight with DLH.

We'll see if it happens. Roach is so inconsistent. Also, I really think he's jumping the gun on Floyd's legs being gone.

As someone already said, as long as the fight gets made, Roach can say whatever the hell he wants.

Of course he is. Roach knows very well what Manny Druguiao is getting into.

Mayweather's legs are what kept him on his feet in round 2 last weekend. 99% of fighter's legs would have given completely out, and certainly wouldn't have rebounded so quickly, after taking the big shots Floyd took from Mosely.

Floyd just boxed moving forward-see the judah fight for a similar mayweather...he used to "box moving forward" at 130, 135 and 140

floyd can still box around the ring (run as the haters put it but thats the gym term) just fine..he chose to put pressure on shane instead and shane proved he couldnt technically handle it..physically he could...but technically he could not handle the pressure

I think hes bullshitting. He realizes pac is gonna have to fight mayweather and hes trying to get a headstart with the mind games.

Pacquiao's legs are gone, that's why he stood right in front of Cotto and Clottey instead of showing them movement like he did De La Hoya.
