I think Valero's 27 win 27 ko's and no defeat record is the allure that makes roach mention him..
Besides it being a scrap and not a blockfest..also..to be the first blemish on his record..and it being somewhat a safe fight for manny being that it is still a bit soon in my eyes and many others.

Pac will be hated to death by critics if his camp picks Marquez, or any non-top Welterweight. JMM isn't relevant anymore as far as Pac is concern, maybe so if their 2 fights is "officially" tied to 1-1 - sadly it's not, or had Pac isn't going on this kind of crazy streak.

no , im not actually. your a ****ing idiot- allow me to explain.

Pac has just fought- and hardly was tested. it is now early march. floyd and shane dont fight til may- which means the earliest a pac/floyd fight could be made- including promotion would be around October or November. This leaves SEVEN or EIGHT months before pacs next fight. that to me is too inactive to prepare for Floyd. Pac could easily prepare for a fight in June and fight one of these so called "pathetic" fighters- AND still fight the fight WE ALL WANT TO SEE.

Bradley isnt exactly a damaging fighter- and a fight that im sure Pac feels he could win without too much risk- sure there is- but thats why he s a champ - and not a ***** made ****** like you. he s willing to fight whoevr- you just sit at home and whinge lke a lil girl.

That would pretty much maintain Pacs activity rate of 3 fights per 12 months- which is what he did across the past year with DLH, Hatton and Cotto.

Now that ive taken your insult and returned it with intelligent rebuttal- you can now go home and **** yourself loser. owned. :yep

First and foremost you are a complete idiot. Exactly where in England do you come from - evidently somewhere that education forgot as the sentance underlined above is without question the most shambolic and meaningless piece of absolute idiocy that i've ever seen on here? It makes no sense whatsoever. Shameful.

Anything other than Mayweather/Mosley, Bradley, or a bout with Marquez at 140lbs tops would be a backward step for Pacquiao in my opinion.
    Margarito doesn't deserve a shot.
    Valero hasn't earned his shot.
The reason I say Bradley and not Alexander is because Bradley is the recognised number 1 at 140lbs (as long as Pacquiao stays at 147lbs anyway).

A third bout with Marquez would have to be 140lbs maximum, I think Pacquiao would beat him now, but I think Marquez deserves his rematch.

the best fight that can be made is pacquiao vs mayweather/mosley without any doubt

if that can't be made because of drugs-tests, purse splits etc. a fight for the WBC against either berto or quintana would be good

another option is to drop to light-welterwieght and fight alexander or bradley, we know that roach doesn't want pacquaio and khan to fight so thats not an option

roach does say that pacquaio can still make 135, so a tear up against valero is another excellent move that could be made, a fight which could also be done at 140 as valero has made noises about moving up to the division

if he does want to fight marquez, he has a choice to fight anywhere between 147-135. he can fight at 135 if he wants to make it competetive, or have an easy night at around 145

kell brook from england has been made his WBO mandatory at welterweight, should be an easy night but won't get any recognition from fans

has been told though that he has to defend his Ring light-welterweight title or get it stripped

    So his options are:
    @ 147
    fight mosley/mayweather for HUGE payday
fight JMM for an easy night with recognition
    fight berto/quintana in unification
fight mandatory brook for an easy night with no recognition

    @140
fight alexander/bradley to defend ring title
fight JMM for a decent work out
fight valero for an excellent fight for fans

    @135
    fight JMM for competetive fight
fight valero and have a hugley explosive fight

obv may/mos is priority number 1
after that, i would like to see him fight @ 140. don't care who against, just any of the listed would be an excellent fight

but at the minuet, pacquaio has the world at his feet, so if a mega fight with mayweather doesn't come off, he has plenty of options which will still get the fans excited

Actually judging by how quickly Pac vs Clottey was put together the earliest a fight between Manny and the Mosley/May winner could essentially be held would actually be sometime in August. That's using Arum mathematics. I don't agree that the fight would need more than 3 months of promotion as it would likely be sold out in a week.

Also, it's not early March it's now mid March and certainly nearer the end of the month then the beginning. Just saying! :D

    Ginger? Chav?

Hell no! I look more like Cotto than Carrot top thank you very much. In fact the only thing you got halfway right in your grunting was black... Anyway, what's it to do with you? Did I say you were an idiot...?

Just what in the hell makes you think I am ginger? Man, you really are off your gord! What did I do, offend your boyfriend? :nut

Also, chavs are predominantly known for their lack of a decent grasp of basic English (as well as their loutish behaviour) something of which i can't be accused.

If I wuz ta strt spking louke this 'an that u mite av a point.

Back on topic, why does Roach think that a Valero fight would outsell a fight with Tim Bradley? I think both would be competitive but would have thought the Bradley fight would take prominance in terms of PPV figures given that Valero is still unknown to the vast majority in the US at least.
