Not a lot simply rewatched his fight with Demarco and came to the conclusion that hes better than i thought he was, dont see whats wrong with that.and its not like he went from zero to hero in one fight i still think hes not on the same level as Pacquiao and that he would get knocked out if they ever fight but i also think it would be a great fight for as long as it lasts

Money May purposely came in overweight to give Marquez an extra 600k because he is a generous guy.

All quality fights if Pac vs FMJ/Mosley fails to materialize.

However, should Pac fight anyone not named FMJ/Mosley, I'd expect for him to get heavily criticized and the opponent to somehow get discredited.

Valero hasn't beaten any fighters worth a damn. So what his style is exciting. <<<It don't mean him vs Pacquiao will be a great fight. Pacquiao vs Hatton was suppost to be a great fight correct? Well it didn't turn out that way. Pacquiao vs Cotto was suppost to be a great fight correct? Well it didn't turn out that way. Valero don't have a chance in hell with Pacquiao. <<<Anybody with a damn brain knows it. It will be a 1 sided ass whooping by Pacquiao destroying Valero.

Nothin. Just thought it was odd that you constantly trash the guy and claim that he would brutally be KO'd within a minute against Pacquiao. Then two weeks later you're claiming a fight between he and Pacquiao would be a great fight. Hey, people can change their mind. It's not like you've never flip flopped before and gone against what you said previously.

I'd rank potential opponents as follows:

    1. Mayweather
    2. Mosley
    3. Bradley
    4. Marquez
    5. Alexander
    6. Valero

That's what happens when you're on top. Pac is considered the top guy at 140 and 147 and they're talking about matching him up with LWs who currently don't have a win in either division. None the less, Pacquiao has a strong fan base. I'm sure Top Rank can hype up any guy they want as an opponent for Pac and Pac's fanbase will be excited.

My opinion is that it would be a great fight but who knows what would happen it might end up being a one sided trashing like you said,i agree that Bradley and Alexander are more deserving of a shot at Pac and that both have better records than Valero but i dont agree with them having a better chance of beating Pac than Valero has.

I think all three of them have little to no chance of beating Pacquiao and all three would get stopped in my opinion, theres only three guys bellow 147 that have a good chance against Pac and those guys are Mosley,Floyd and Williams if he can make the weight all others get their ass beat.

Hmmm...So let me see If i am understanding this correctly. Freddie Roach says that: "in his mind the number one contender (to fight Manny) is Edwin Valero?" Isn't he a Lightweight? And Roach also says that he personally want to fight Marquez again.

Yet legitimate Title Holders Bradley who has a nice list (Holt, Witter, Cherry, Peterson) of Victories and Alexander beat Witter and Urango which are FAR BETTER than anyone Valero has beaten....Roach doesn't want to fight Alaxander nor Bradley???

Hmmmm, there was a poster who created several threads that said this SAME ****, and it was dismissed as being Racist!!! Damn, what was that Brothas' name?:hi:

LMAO where are the same mother****ers who said Valero would destroy Pac? What about those dumbasses who said Marquez would still beat Pacquiao? What about those Joyboys who said Mayweather beat the second p4p fighter in Marquez? Now all of a sudden all those guys mentioned are irrelevant now?

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Lenny Brown Sacramento, CA “Is Xylocaine approved by the FDA?”

I spoke today with a representative from the FDA via their Drug Information line. I asked them if Xylocaine was illegal or banned in this country. The representative said there are no bans on this drug. The representative also said that there would be no reason for individual states to make this drug illegal especially if its FDA approved. However, if this drug is administered by an I.V. or through injections then it must be done under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional.

    World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)

One of the world’s leading authorities on anti-doping, WADA is the primary source for which drugs are banned in sports or athletic competitions worldwide. According to WADA, via GlobalDRO.com, “None of the ingredients in this brand (Xylocaine) are currently included on the WADA Prohibited List”. This means that Xylocaine is not banned by WADA.

    WADA

    US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)

Mandy Craig Sacramento, CA “Does the USADA ban Xylocaine?”

The USADA has a Drug Reference line where you can contact them via telephone and specifically ask them about any drug. When I called them yesterday, I spoke directly with their telephone doctor of the day. First, I must say that it was very informative being able to talk to a USADA doctor about this drug and the potential side effects. Anyhow, the doctor said that Xylocaine is legal for boxers to take via injection into the hands. He also said that individual state athletic commissions might have additional stipulations.

    Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC)

In a conversation that I had with Keith Kizer, about the use of Xylocaine in the state of Nevada, Keith said that because “It is not a prohibited substance under WADA or USADA”; it’s not banned by the State Athletic Commission. However, Keith Kizer noted that the commission has added some stipulations to the use of Xylocaine.

“We don’t want fighters to use it on fight day. We make sure they have full physicals to check for this. They will be told to stop doing this from the weigh-in through the fight. Fighters must only take Tylenol or ice for any pain.”
