    Don't completely disagree but the facts are:

    1) Team Pacquiao originally said they would accept random drug testing and before changing their minds at the last minute.
    2) Pacquiao signed on the dotted line to fight another fighter while still somewhat negotiating with Team Mayweather.

    Agree with the sentiment though, we (fans) are the losers here so there is no point on dragging this argument on. One of them should have just said **** it and gave in to make us happy (while lining their pockets).

    I'd say there quite a big difference between the two as wanting more money is down to greed (yet Pac fans claim he's not worried about money:huh) where as pushing for more time when your trainer doesn't think you need it just seems a bizarre thing to kick off over.

    Pacquiao agreed to the split with Hatton first of all too...

    Richard Schaefer, chief executive of De La Hoya's Golden Boy, who represent Hatton in the US, railed yesterday against Pacquiao, insisting he was "disgusted at [his] behaviour". Schaefer added: "He's a spoiled young kid who doesn't know how to behave. What a waste of time, money and effort. Am I surprised he's changed his mind? No. He did it to me two years ago. We had booked the planes, the hotels, printed the press kits for the press tour. It was all ready to go, a big production."

    Throwing 20mil down the toilet over 1% is not greed, it is both pride and stupidity. Pac wanted that extra 1% not because of the money but because he thought he deserved more. The pot could be smaller with him earning less but as long as he got bigger % ie 51 instead of 50, he would agree.

    In this case Pac didnt want the additional disadvantage for absolutely no reason. To him, it wasnt in the rules, he didnt want his blood drained, he's saying no, end of. If Pac tries to gain an advantage by asking his opponents to fight at a catchweight, they have the option to say no, just as he has the option to back down from it or carry on.

    Also this thread is stupid. Roach is not Pac or the promoter. He also said he was OK with Foreman, Pac wasnt, so they didnt fight Foreman. Find me a quote FROM Pac that says he would take a 5 day window, or the other popular one, hes scared of needles.

    But he never said he would agree to a 5 day window... he's not agreeable to blood testing day of the fight, and previous 24 days to that. lol. He just never mentioned that part.

    you ignorant ni33a. im assuming i can say that sinse you called me one. how is anything you have posted a lie? so what if freddie is ok with 5 day testing, im sure he is. problem is he is not the last word on the matter. where is the lie? did freddie say pac is ok with 5 days?

    Freddie said 5 days is fine....Freddie was prolly thinking floyd was gonna stick to the day of the fight demand and when he didn't it put Freddie on the spot..

    just like when roach said that "mayweather dont wanna fight in march but we are fighting in march wether it be formane or floyd"...floyd called the bluff and said he would fight in march... Im just trying to figure out how manny fans can say floyd is at fault when manny the one who backed out..i mean if roach says 5 days is good than 14 should be good as well...
