Im not a Haye fan but hes just to fast for Valuev I think he stops Valuev in 7. I do give Valuev a punchers chance though if he can land clean, but i doubt he will.

Valuev hasn't really hurt anyone either.

You know it is funny. I was in the gym yesterday with a former Valuev victim. A 6'5" 260lb man who was a top rated amateur super heavy, a former Olympian, and a very talented athlete. This man connected with some very heavy shots on Valuev and was unable to hurt him. I don't know why people are acting like Haye has depth at heavyweight, right now all the talk about Haye's power at heavy is merely speculative.

Let's be serious for a second. Roach has a penchant for making bold declarations...most of which do not come to fruition. I mean, after all, Haye is going to flatten Valuev sounds a hell of a lot better than Haye is going to win a boring 12 round decision...especially they desperately need those pay per view numbers.

In the Valuev Barret fight, Barret was tired in the 8th round and Ko'd him in the 11th, the KO was far from impressive.

This from Haye was far more impressive

Not really. Consider that most of those KD's were the result of Barrett being off balance. The Valuev fight changed Barrett. Prior to that bout he never would have been KO'd in two by Couser, and since the Haye fight he was starched by Solis far more impressively than he was by Haye. If Barrett is the barometer of success at heavy then we have set the bar very low.

I think hell stop him by accumaltion of shots,I dont think hes just gonna bomb him out,but hes gonna tee off on him. Even a rock chin like Margarito can be kod, when he fought someone with a combination of Power and far superior speed. I see this as a similar fight.

whilst i normally find your posts kind of amusing (if at times wrong). haye has only gassed once, and that was as an 11 fight novice.

Haye was much more impressive against Barrett than Valuev, Haye knoked Barett down with punches that were not even clean punches, Barret had to go down because of Haye's work rate. I rate Haye on his Cruiserweight skills, if he box as fast as that against Valuev hes going to tire Valuev, and Ko him.

Wait. So you're telling me the man with a history of stamina problems is going to tire out the man with no history of stamina problems? Ok.

To bomb away at Valuev means to stand in front of Valuev. I remember a guy named Moore once stood in front of a slow plodding guy named Foreman and thought he could bomb away. He paid a big price for that. And if Haye sticks and moves instead, he will never have the leverage necessary to hurt Valuev, and will appear to be running. In Europe, the aggressor usually gets the decision. So again, bad move for Haye.

Valuev has no stamina problems because he doesnt fight at any pace, he tries to win decisions by using his jab and straights. Haye wastes a lot of energy trying to end fights and it's effective because he ends fights well. If Haye dictates the pace of the fight he will overwhelm Valuev make him defensive, which he isn't very good at and Valuev will loose. If the fight is slow Valuev will win the fight.

I have to agree with that, but I actually do think Haye will win.

this will be the quickest opponent Valuev will face, but strongest, no way, but slickness , speed and above average power should do haye justice.
