It's funny cause all this nonsense from Mayweather and his team to gain any and every advantage over Pacquiao, Roach at the end of the day could care less. He has to much experience and knows what he needs to do get Pacquiao ready even with these ridiculous schemes

It's not ethical to punch someone in the face either, yet that's what the sport is all about. Look, I totally agree with you but when it comes down to it, both of us will take advantage of whatever we can to remain in business. As far as Bill Gates is concerned, he was sued decades ago and literally bought every single top tier lawyer known in America. Was that ethical?, no, but it wasn't illegal either. You play the cards you're dealt.

Then I guess Bob Arum is going to have to pay sparring partners more so he can out bid Al Haymon....that's coming out Manny's cut doe hunh!,

The thing that makes it unethical is the impact it could have on the paying fans and the sport.

Honestly, if we the fans are to accept and even ADMIRE fighters who know how to hinder and sabotage the opponent's training camp, then we lose at the time of the fight.

Of course, that's not going to happen here even if Mayweather does take up the sparring partners, but for people to say "anything goes" and "all's fair in war" that sets a bad precedent.

Muhammad Ali had his share of dirty tactics in and out of the ring, Leonard, Hagler, Tyson, DLH, Holyfield, Lewis and many more as well. This sissy nonsense has no room in our sport. If you want a perfect role model your only hope is God because there is no perfect human being living among us and there never will be.

It's not sissy nonsense to say we would prefer to see fighters come to fights well prepared, is it ?

Of course, it's always gone on. So has fight-fixing, poisoning, corruption etc.
Yeah, it's part of the sport.
That doesn't mean we should explicitly support it, does it ?

But then, maybe we should, I dunno.

Bro in a sport where you can literally beat someone to death an get away with it talking ethics seems a bit naive. To me if true is just smart gamesmanship, in all area's of life stuff like this happens it's called getting an edge. Now I'm not saying its the most respectable thing to do but in heated competition you do what you have to, to win as long as its not illegal.

I would feel the same way if Roach did it too its a lot riding for both fighter's if I can mess up your training or mess with your head to throw you off your game do it.

Well, when I say "unethical" I'm not talking about boxing being ethical.
I'm coming from the selfish fan's perspective. I would rather see both fighters come to the fight with good preparation. It makes the fight better.

Of course, people do what they can to get an edge.
But it the fights suck, I think I'll soon lose interest.

I suppose it all has some sort of "soap opera" appeal, but I'd rather see two well-prepared fighters who have spent 100% of their energies making themselves better rather than worrying aout making the other guy worse.

I'm not that bothered about it. Just pointing out the obvious.

I get what your saying but that doesn't happen a lot we as fan just don't hear about it Mayweather-Corrales Pacquiao-Barerra, Mayweather/Pacquiao-Cotto are just fight's from each guy's career where one of the fighters has issue's that disrupt training didn't stop them from being good fights. After all the **** that has come out I don't even care as long as they fight.

It's not about having to support it in my personal opinion, it's about accepting it. This type of behavior is there in every aspect of life.
