Think real hard. Obviously, I'm just working with the FACTS and REALITY, and I have no agenda. Now, about those punches. I want some goddamn answers.

compubox stats only count in hopkins fights when they show he outlanded his opponent. don't you people know anything?

seems like some of bernie's fans have forgotten their hysterical behaviour and screaming about the stats showing he outlanded jermaine taylor after both their encounters. :yep

You sound real clever, maybe you can tell me about all those "punches" Calzaghe landed.

Unless you want run off like the others?

Wonderful, I would have led with a question, but this isn't a popular subject for some reason. Yes, I'd like to know approximately how many punches in total you believe Joe Clazaghe landed against Bernard Hopkins? Roughly..

    in human terms? 232.

in supernatural terms, factoring in joe calzaghe's blistering handspeed that makes it impossible for the naked eye to keep up with? we shall never know...

i only seen joe out slap bhop, he let his hands go and scored more points.but i think joe likes to slap box alot and he won the fight based on his output.he did not out box bhop, hell im waiting for someone to actually beat hopkins.

what do i know, i still think rjj will beat jc.i still take 2005 bhop vs any version of joe.hell the same joe that beat kessler was the same one he beat bhop by one point in sd.you got to be kidding me.**** OFF!!

Difficult to look great against a negative fighter who was fighting dirty and feigning injury. Yet despite all that he landed more punches on Hopkins than any other fighter. At the end of the bout Calzaghe = winner Hopkins = loser

Hopkins is just too old and so good that he knows when to throw a big punch and how many times he can afford doing so each round to still have enough energy for the late rounds. He can't afford to get reckless in there and end up tired early then taken out. In training he can look good all he wants because it's training but in the ring it's a different story and making mistakes there can cost him a round or the fight.

I know he can use some really serious cheating tactics in there and still get away with it easily even in the referees face, he's just too sneaky and smart. It's a part of the sport, can't really complain there because all fighters have their own cheating tactics, it just takes another smart fighter to mention it and TRY to avoid it. As I said, it's a part of the sport and everyone had his share of illegal tactics.

Were you laughing at Hopkins dismal acting effort in round 10. What a pansy.

"If" doesn`t count for anything. All we know is Hopkins wouldn`t get into the ring with JC a number of years back and when he did he lost. :hi:

Did Roach ever say what his strategy was against Joe? Because he said Bernard got tired in the later rounds and I didn't see much from him after the first. Hop usually starts out slow and finishes strong, but it was the exact opposite against Calzaghe.

at the end of the day, Hopkins showed he would beat Calzaghe in his prime. Calzaghe was almost a 3-1 favorite, and Hopkins beat those odds easily. In his prime, Hopkins would have been the favorite, not Calzaghe.
