Tarver has a different style than Taylor, that's why. And majority will tell you he really beat Taylor, including myself. His reflexes looked much better in the 2nd Taylor fight than the Calzaghe fight, so that pretty much sums it up. He also fought Calzaghe at his highest weight ever, and looked like he put too much muscle mass on, so who knows, that might of blunted his speed a little and made him more slugglesh a little in those later rounds more than his age.

 

Nope. Every time Bernard felt he had energy, Joe clearly outhit him. The only thing that kept Joe's punch stats down was Bernard holding and hugging all night long. A 10% higher work rate from Bernard would result in 10% higher punch stats from Joe. Bernard is in a loose-loose situation.
