Roach-"I dont know how Pac can beat JMM!"

Team Marquez does'nt need to come up with a differnt gameplan, they've been sucessful for three fights now.
The advantage that Marquez has over Pacquiao is that he's able to tweak certain things in the ring according to how Pacquiao approaches him.

For example, in the third fight, thinking Marquez was older and slower now, Roach plan was to make Marquez come to Pacquiao. To force Marquez to have to lead and his fighter the quicker, faster fighter, counterpunch off of Marquez leads.
Marquez adjusted by probing lead straight jabs and rights to Pacquiao's body, anticipating the counter by Pacquiao, picking it off and countering right back.

Marquez has been able to tweak his gameplans round by round, something Pacquiao cannot do, and its made all the differerence in the fights as Marquez has controlled the ring in everyone of them.

 

Pacquiao looked more inept and uncapable of landing clean hard punches on a fighter in Marquez who's mentality that night was to box and avoid gettting into prolonged exchanges has he had done twice previously.

They are two different fighters as you say, but logic says that they're not a whole lot different. Both are boxers and both react to incoming reallly well.

If Pacquiao had alot more problems when Marquez less gung ho and more aware of not to get into full blown exchanges? Thats exactly how Mayweather approaches everyone of his fights.
It just does'nt say a whole lot to Pacquiao's possibilities to come out victorious vs a fighter like Mayweather who does'nt open up offensively as much as Marquez does.

I think Marquez being more conservative and less inclinced to punch in multiple of more than 3 punches at a time in that third fight, actually shows us that Mayweather is more inclined to dominate vs Pacquiao.
