How did Floyd ended up in this discussion again? atsch Anyways, just because they can't find the perfect gameplan doesn't mean they are admitting defeat. What Roach was implying is that they are unable to win as convincingly as they wanted. You people just can't resist on hating on Pacquiao can't you? :yep
I just mean that I am not sure Marquez did do better performance wise. In the 1st fight he was knocked down 3 times but won practically every round after the first. In the second fight, he was knocked down early which made the difference in an otherwise close fight. In the 3rd fight, there were no knockdowns and it was still a somewhat close fight. Had there been another knockdown by Pac, especially in a round he was losing, then theres a good chance we would not even be having this 4th fight. The fight was close enough to many, without a knockdown. Pac improved his skills and/or Marquez got worse.
I thought he won the last fight the clearest in most peoples eyes. He avoided any knockdowns which have always been what has ****ed him over with the judges. If Pac looks the same way as he did in the Bradley fight, Marquez will have an easy day with him.
The knockdowns were just an excuse for the judges to grasp on to and not have to explain their dishonesty. Even without knockdowns I'm sure the judges would have found a way to score the fights in favor of Pacquiao, as was the case in fight 3.
Pacroid and Cockroach are two of the biggest frauds in the history of boxing. They convinced a good portion of the world that they were fighter and trainer of the decade. Luckily they have since been exposed and their fanboys are backed into as corner.
so wait.... are you telling us, with 1,538 posts here on ESB, that you're better in choosing the fighter and trainer of the decade than the BWAA? :rofl:hi:
see the logic: *****-Logic 101 a midget who's been fighting leftovers and draining fighters is a steroid user :rofl ooops...did I mention Pac was exposed by JMM 3x :rofl
You mean a corrupt organization that is bought off by scumbags like Bob Arum for the sake of going along with the media blitz? And a naive audience that loves Pacroid winning "against the odds" with old catchweight opponents coming off losses and already beaten by Floyd? And the so-called experts who called Roach one of the best trainers of all time despite the likes of Pacroid, Khan, and Chavez Jr being exposed by better opponents? Then yes, my 1539 posts do put me in a better position to judge these fighters. I don't benefit in any way from their reputation. I merely call what I see. There were better trainers than Roach and better fighters than Pacquiao. Don't try to use the "authenticated" word of the BWAA to say that Pac and Roach were anything but hypejobs taking the world on a glorious smoke and mirror show.
tell me, how did you score the first fight. i'm REALLY interested. i need a specific answer, not explanations.
