No it will happen because Floyd loves money and when he gets beaten which is coming up really soon, he will want the paycheck.

Floyd's lifestyle will not allow him to retire early.

what cracks me up his how roach says "i dont think floyd will ever fight manny" and the legion of tards take it as gospel and say "i agree...ive been saying this for awhile"

thats fine...but will manny ever fight floyd? it takes two sides to make a fight....yet these people have wool over their eyes as if floyd is the only one who has caused this fight not to happen

roach also said "floyd wont stand and trade with shane...he has to get on his bike to win"....then said "floyds legs are gone" after the fight

he also said "well knock floyd out easy"...and then said "we need alot of time to prepare against a great fighter like him....well have to fight the perfect fight to win"...

lolol....will roach ever come out and say "geez when is mannys promoter actually going to take steps towards us getting the mayweather fight"?? never.....again...it takes two sides....these guys love pointing the finger at the other side for appearances to mask the fact that theyve made no more of an effor than floyd

First off, I'm black so let's get rid of the race card here. I respect Floyd's skills (how can you not) but he has robbed us boxing fans of quite a few potentially great fights by not taking them at the right time or not taking them at all. The reason pac gets away with the same "cherry picking" that Floyd does is because Pac dominates or knocks the guys out. As fans, if there is a mismatch in boxing we at least want to see an entertaining beating or a ko. We don't want to see a guy who is clearly better just cruising to a win because he can.

another funny thing i love hearing from the 'tards is how they call manny a "non american fighter" when they need that to defend him in an argument

the american media ****in loves him...hes pretty ****in big in this country.....rarely is a bad word spoken about him.....when is the last time this country had a real popular, non heavyweight, african american fighter with a fanbase???

floyd can be all the ****in american you want....but the reality is the american fanbase knows manny and roots for him just as much, if not more, than floyd

"well floyds fight with shane did better because hes an american...manny isnt american...even if manny had what was supposed to be more exposure with CBS....hes not american....floyd is american"!!!

All the evidence is always found on a resume. it does not lie.
Floyd only fights 2 types of fighters at 147
    a) Those much older than he
    b) Those that have one or less victory at 147

Does MP fit into either ? NO.

Do Shane, JMM, Hatton, Victor ortiz and Khan ? Yes to all.

What do the fighters popularity have anything to do with this thread?

Floyd ducked Cotto, Paul Williams, Margarito and Pacquiao, and Clottey.

    Floyd has fought a 38 year old 135lber at 147, a 38 year old coming off a 1 1/2 year layoff at 147 and a 140lber at 147lbs in his last 3 welterweight fights.

aint it amazing that a guy like floyd can still do the numbers he does and get the checks he does...without having to go to war and engage in brawliing....pretty amazing to me...he fights at his pace....does what he wants.....has people criticize him for it....yet still does 1.5 and is getting 40 mil guarantees for his next fight

fighters popularity doesnt have anything to do with this thread....but go through this here and thread and you have a ******* claiming that manny not being an american has something to do with his ppv numbers

floyd never ducked cotto...in fact he wanted him....but at the time floyd and cotto were both under top rank with arum.....in fact cotto was ringside in AC when floyd beat the tar out of gatti....deer in headlights....and cotto said he wasnt ready yet.....arum wanted him nowhere near floyd....and floyd easily beats him then and now

    just ridiculousness......

lil floyd is scared to face Pac, he'll just throw another wrench just to prevent the fight to happen.

tell manny to come out nationally, to the media(ie espn or something), and say he agrees to full random blood testing....and ill bet you a large sum of money we have a fight

not on some youtube video from an interview with a boxing site that gets 150 hits a day....not through a similar type of interview with his promoter or lawyer
