    This fight is turning into a WWE show;
promoter vs promoter - Top Rank vs GBP
trainer vs trainer - Roach vs Nacho

    what's next,
Oscar's wife vs Pac's wife :yep
Why not make this a survivor series - Team PAC vs. Team Oscar

Add Stone Cold Steve Austin to Pac's team and The Rock to DLH's team, then, as Jim Ross always say, we'll have a "slobberknocker" of a fight!!!! :hey

We dont know any of these people personally, the fighters or the trainers.......all I personally have to judge their character by is how they comport themselves in front of a camera, and to date, that whole Marquez team has been nothing but dignified.
Pac has been that way as well.......but I cant say the same about Roach anymore......and for anyone to change their mind on the character of a person based on what Roach (who is losing his credibility everytime he opens his mouth these days) is saying these days, is just ridiculous and making assumptions on heresay.

Unless someone asks Nacho if what Roach is saying is true, and he backs Roach statement to the affirmative, I cant take Roach's statement to be true, and to the contrary.....I've lost respect of Roach for even bringing it up in a situation where it's not relevant to bring up.

.....If I'm not mistaken, Roach was asked to the effect of what he thought of Beristain as far as training DLH, and Roach brings up a personal matter instead.........sounds to me like someone who cant match boxing witts with Beristain, and so he has to bring personal non-relevant issues to the front to feel good about himself.

I like how Divac is already making an excuse as to why Roach claimed why he said he hates Nacho.

Doesnt know **** who the translator was nor knows **** of what Nacho really said but apparentely knows that Nacho is too much of a saint to do something like that and its Roach's problem as to the beef with Nacho.

they certainly weren't dignified when beristain made accusations in front of the boxing press about a grand conspiracy against him and the marquez bros. when both rafa and jmm lost fights one after the other. it just simply shows that as a person, he's a sore loser. and that's probably why he made that disrespectful and undignified comment to roach.

All Nacho and the JMM team did was point to what every boxing fan already knows.....that boxing is crooked.
Nacho was'nt yelling and screaming that they had been robbed. He did'nt need to yell and scream so that others at the press conference could buy into his remarks. He knew it in his heart, and he pointed it out calmly without making a rukus.

Arum on the other hand was a different story, he went bonkers that not only the JMM team pointed out the crookedness of the sport, but he was beside himself that media journalist in attendance felt the same way.

You tell me who acted more dignified.....Nacho who simplistically and calmly alluded the politics of the sport, or that convicted Briber who went ballistic that someone could question such a thing........

   The funny thing about Arums remarks after the JMM-Pac rematch is that during the time he went ballistic for Nacho questioning the honesty of the decision, he admitted that he too in the past wast guilty of making the same accusations!   :rofl :rofl :rofl

"Yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth!":rofl :rofl
Bob Arum is a complete joke!!!:deal :yep

Exactly for the reason that we dont know who and how the translation took place, is the reason why I'm saying that what Roack said should'nt be taken as fact.

If you bother to read Boom Boom, I've already stated that none of us know whether Nacho really said that or not......I would'nt not be shocked if in fact Nacho did say it, but my point all along in this thread was that Roach had no good reason to bring it up to anyone in the press, as even if Nacho did say it, its unrelated to boxing and is a personal issue between himself and Nacho.

Roach did'nt have the balls to confront Nacho in the issue, but he did have the gall to make the issue public.......that should tell you something about Freddie Roach the man!

their beef w/ each other is certainly boxing-related. it may be personal but it's still boxing related. nacho even said at 24/7 that he takes losing and failure very hard and personal. that shows that he can be a sore loser and that's why he probably made that comment on roach. the comment may be personal per se but it's certainly a result of their boxing rivalry. if there was no boxing rivalry/animosity between them, then nacho wouldn't have made that comment in the first place.

What boxing trainer worth his salt takes losing non-chalantly.
Any great trainers in the sport or any sport for that matter, does'nt like to lose.......it does'nt make them assholes or do they become assholes out of the realm of competition.

You're reading into what Nacho said in his comment about winning an losing on 24/7, what you want to read into it, Chert.

To be quite frank, Nacho's comment on 24/7 and the incident that Roach claims, has nothing to do with one another.......Nacho never said anything to the effect of he being a bad sport when he loses......these statements have nothing to do with one another.

There was a series on Discovery I think that took these two fighters around the world, training and learning fighting styles for a week or two in each location. One of the locations was Nacho's gym.
