I just think he's forcing Khan to use his brain and do what hes been taught, because Freddy Roach is considering his own status here.

warrr khan. he has the potential to go far, always exciting fast and eye freindly fighting style. id rather watch khan fight than hatton or calzaghe.

 

Difficult fight to predict IMO
Barrera is ageing and at a higher weight than the bulk of his career, but Khan has been put down a couple of times by undersized national scene contenders. Depends on how much Khan has improved defensively and how much Barrera has left. The only thing I predict about this fight is that it's not going to go 12 rounds....

 

If Khan wins this fight, what does this say about Freddie Roach?

Roach knows how bad Khan's Glass Jaw is. He knows you can't compete on an elite level with a Glass Jaw as bad as Khan's.

 

if he can't beat barrera he should consider a career change.

 

Roach is right if Khan can't beat a 135lb shot Barrera then his aspirations of boxing glory are pretty much in the toilet.

 

Not as much as I used to, which is why I'm not up to scratch on all the fighters these days.
