He was asked if there was any time during the fight where he thought they would knock Clottey out.
    “Yeah,” he said.
“Or (there were times) he could have knocked us out, too.”

Waiting for the *******s to jump out and say Clottey has nothing to be embarrassed about after Roach says this.

It never fails to strike me how much proffessioal boxers are on many occasions like 1st graders squaring up in the playground at recess.
Kid A smacks kid B hard in the mouth. Kid B decides he cant win, curls up in a ball and waits for the bell to ring, recess to end.
Kid B was Clotty, 1 min into the fight he decided he could not win. Could he have won? , hell I don't know, I think he was stronger physically than Pac, fast enough to hit Pac, and probably big enough of a puncher to hurt Pac, If he had seriously tried to.....
This fight was a study of what is wrong with boxing these days. IMO of course.

I dunno...Still better than many MMA matches where there scared to death to catch a punch. Besides the point I guess, but I'm just saying...

he would not have thrown the stool at him. When Virgil Hill was fighting Thomas Hearns he pleaded with Virgil to get more busy and he was very vocal, but he didn't throw any stool.

he indeed made his best defense---to avoid his face from being ****ed up even his midsection gets pummeled, then get intervied post fight and compain from a nasty diarrhea.

It wouldn't have mattered even if Freddie did throw the stool at him.

Clottey would have blocked it no problem with his defence.
